Re: Native Art Playing Cards now live on Kickstarter
I really, really like these. I'll definitely put in for a deck, even though I'm a little worried about their out-of-the-way location...

Hey badpete69, thanks so much for sharing! I'm new to the community.
@Frequenter, I understand your concern. And to be honest, shipping may take up to 2-3 extra weeks. Its one of the greatest barriers to my campaign. No worries though, we are serviced by US Postal Service and so the cards WILL get to you!
Please feel free to ask me any questions!!!

Re: Native Art Playing Cards now live on Kickstarter
I was honestly not expecting much when I clicked this topic, but these are very interesting and well done! I really like the integration of the motifs and love the back design with its (if I can borrow a term from myself) organic symmetry.
I think I'll pledge for a few, cool stuff.

Re: Native Art Playing Cards now live on Kickstarter
The style is definitely something different. I really like the design but at the same time I can't see myself using these for cardistry, so I don't think I'll be picking these up.
But like I said the design is nice, keep it up

Will this be available via any of our favorite resellers (erm, here in the US, I mean)? Or from the creator?

Re: Native Art Playing Cards now live on Kickstarter
Just to keep you guys updated... I was a backer of this project and got my deck promptly a while back. There is now a limited edition deck available only on the creator webstore
http://www.trickstercompany.com
Trickster Co. Playing Cards - EX Edition
To further celebrate the one year anniversary of our kickstarter, I've produced an exclusive edition of playing cards! The artwork is the same but I used a series of layered ribbons in coloring this deck, which gives the deck a shimmery quality! See the image below! The cards are in high quality matte and embossed boxes. Each Box is hand signed. The playing cards themselves are printed on Bee paper, so they're a bit higher quality than the standard edition. And to continue in the fashion we started with, giving back to the community the artwork comes from, for every EX deck that sells, we will donate a Tlingit Language edition deck to Sealaska Heritage Institute! Take a look:
