Pure card porn.

This is like Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel announcing a collaberative project in custard wrestling.

I second that. They REALLY don't need it to succeed.

Wow. What a lot of hype for a deck that doesn't even exist yet, is not even a concept yet!

There is no way it's going to live up to the expectations...
let's be honest, it's gonna suck! How's that for "haterade?"

Wait wait wait, wrong thread...

To address one concern, no this isn't a joke.

Jackson and I are tossing around a variety of ideas and are aiming to create something both fresh and of supreme quality. I believe one phrase tossed around was "melt your face awesome" and we'll do what we can to bring together all our ideas and expertise into a really cool package.

I imagine we'll ultimately end up with something quite a bit different than might be expected, so stay tuned.

That is all for now. You may return to your normal card collecting.

Some years back I was on the E forums and got "rick-rolled" on April Fools Day. For those of you that don't know, getting "rick-rolled" is being tricked into clicking a link but being directed to the Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up" video. But E redirected everyone to Rebecca Black's "Friday" song... Horrible. Anywho, the link E jokingly put out there was to a deck of cards with tiny OLEDs built into the stock that light up with the touch of human skin. I realize now the impossibility of that... Or do I? That would sure melt my face off due to awesomeness.

HAHAH..

But.. the strange thing is.. this is closer than you think.
How long before a deck does this?....

Sure, no problem. We'll release 100 decks with that technology. They will only cost $999 each!

They will have precise 2mm borders and same day shipping to anywhere will be $6, and they will be handed over to you personally by a supermodel. I tell ya, this will be a game changer.

No programmable OLED playing cards?

Don't like thick borders? Make them thinner on your own! White backs getting stale? Reverse the polarity!

I'll go all in, but only if I can pick the supermodel and her lack of attire.

OLED? Here I was thinking that they'd be building a time machine, going 5 years into the future, snatching up the PS Vita II touch screen in every card so I could jsut upload JPGs of different cards to all 52. They'll shuffle like shit, but it's just a matter of changing the picture on the card as a workaround.... and then delivered to me by a naked supermodel. have I invested too much faith in my dreams once more?

I chatted with Jackson today, and he told me that they had their first few directional meetings.
They have their direction pretty nailed down, and they hope to tease something in the next few weeks.

I'm excited to see what comes from these guys!
