high international shipping holds me off from backing this...its a pitty!

Their shipping rates are actually very fair. It costs nearly $12 in postage alone to ship 1 deck USPS first class to international destinations.

Adding on just $8 is very reasonable, considering they also have costs of packaging and time.

Thanks for your support on this Paul - you are dead-on with your rate quote for a single deck. USPS raised their rates in February and the cost of packaging and fulfillment is always going up. We try our best to pass on value to our customers when it comes to these additional costs. BTW, thanks for your support on Royal Optik!

Wow, I wish I'd found out about Uusi's playing cards sooner. Backed Royal Optik and took a look at the previously created projects. Bohemia and Blue Blood are stunningly gorgeous as well. I'll have to find a way to get a few decks of those at some point.

Yup and I'll wait to get decks from one of you after. Sad but true, it just makes more sense. I can tie up my money for months (and run the risk of getting nothing) or I can order them after they are in stock and get them within days. This is one of the many reasons KS projects are broken right now.

Uusi is one of the few deck designers I can fully trust on KS without any worries about them taking off with their backer's money or taking forever to ship out their decks. I really hope the Red deck gives them a huge boost. I got the custom brick box for their Bohemia deck and it was exquisite, so I was really looking forward to getting a custom brick box for the Royal Optik deck, too, but I'm not sure they'll get to the $63,000 pledge level... I hope they reach that level and beyond so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Uusi decks are the cream of the crop and never fail to deliver. They are the only designer I will consistently buy from on KS. Once their deck series is over I'm going to be inconsolable for some time.

Not only does Uusi make the best court cards out of all the custom decks out there, they really know how to run an efficient KS campaign after they're funded by getting out the decks to their backers with minimal delay. I'm glad they broke the $50K mark, I just wish it went even higher!

I have been looking for one as well, I do have one deck but it is still sealed. The re-release will be good enough for me. I'm glad they went with a version 2 instead of a reprint like the 'limited' curator deck.

Their last update was Aug 2nd, just said they are working on the add-on stuff and are still on track for USPC to ship them the deck mid month and also the news about their Blue Blood Redux deck.

I wish everyone who wants to put out a deck on KS study how Uusi does it, because they do it right. I'm really looking forward to receiving the RO deck on time like they projected.

Uusi put out an update where they expect their decks to be delivered to them by tomorrow or Wednesday, which means they'll be shipping out by the end of this week! How about that? A Kickstarter campaign that fulfills their project BEFORE the estimated delivery date!
