kind of a sucker for decks that are one work of art and looks like one of them is gilded so...at that price...sure

campaign page could both benefit from being more descriptive and a LOT shorter somehow at the same time.

Quite a nice offering with some nice not seen in every campaign stuff.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Beautiful design overall BUT I have a big pet peeve about "index-inside-the-pip" designs and even if I didn't, there is no attempt to marry the style to cards. It is very jarring to my preciously sensitive eyes.

I don't know if I can quite put my finger on it, but I am just not on board with any of the Room One decks. Something just feels off and not above board. Clearly they're delivering their projects, but I don't know., something's off.

only odd things I can come up with

how they sprung up as a complete ready to move entity like they are someone running cards at say kingstar after hours
that they are trying to create a brand of WILDLY dissimilar cards
that they somehow seemed to as an unknown have several artists lined up to use them again when no one knew who they were.

But like you said..they have been pumping out product and its been ...fine...USPCC fine levels of product not caramundi and WJPC at their best level.

My issue is there doesn't really seem to be a human element to it. I'm not connecting with any artist; it just seems like very random projects created out of the blue and churned out like a business. Granted, I'm impressed by their turnaround and production skills, but I've yet to back any of their campaigns.

We never tried the "index-inside-the-pip" designs before, and we just think it may be a good fit since we want to show more of the puzzle design and keep a thin white boarder on the face.

This deck sure turned out pretty!

The cards themselves have very charming artwork that suits the theme and concept. I especially love the polyptych elements, where multiple cards combine to form a single image.

The two-part tuck box is a lovely touch, and we have foil and gilding for extra luxury.

Really, really nice all round! Great job Room One Playing Cards and their label Bloom!

Yep, I sure do, otherwise I wouldn't have posted to share the positive impressions I wrote about how it turned out.

I think it turned out well visually. I saw the marketing pics and thought maybe you didn't have it.

Yeah, I just added some product pictures from their site, because this thread didn't have a single picture of the deck until now, and that was the easiest way for me to do that. :)

I usually do some cropping and resizing of promotional pictures though, and I'm selective with what I reproduce, to try to showcase things as best as possible for my fellow-collectors here.
