New to Collecting

Hello Everyone!

I've always loved playing cards since I was a kid and recently I wanted to try and create my own deck for the fun of it. I went down the rabbit hole of admiring old card back designs from Goodall and Dougherty and now I find myself wanting to collect old decks. haha. Glad to join the forum and I hope to poke at your brains for some tribal knowledge on card collecting. haha

Welcome. Unless you have limitless funds, my advice would be to be really fussy for your first year ie you must really LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a deck to buy it in your first year. There are not many decks that I regret buying but I would probably only buy about 20% of them if they were put before me now
