Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I feel compelled to express my top10 Lotrek decks:
1. Venexiana Gold - it’s where my obsession for Lotrek started, and it also took me a long while to finally secure a copy. But for the whole time I was buying by the thousands left and right, Venexiana Gold has always been my deepest desire
2. Blue Golden Oath - I know I should just say Golden Oath and call it a day but I have a weird fascination for the Blue one. Maybe it’s the missing tuck, the fact that it gets straight in your face with the ace of spade, the stock color or the numbered carat I dunno.
3. Crypt - I love the mystery, the anonymous brown paper case and when you open it, Jesus. First time my jaw dropped to the floor, I love the intricacies, the multiple foils, the details, everything.
4. Blue Damask - when you spread first time and you feel the cards under your fingers, it feels incredible
5. Arabesque Silver - before being obsessed with Venexiana Gold, I was obsessed with Arabesque. Again the intricacies, I was blown away by the pictures, it was something I never saw before and I remember looking on Amazon where I found the three Player’s versions. Young me was very satisfied back then but once I got Gold and Silver years later, oh boy.
6. ICONS Imperial Reverse - the tuck is luscious, the story of the deck makes me shake a little when I hold it in my hands, even through the carat case. It’s probably the most valuable deck I own, and maybe this has some influence on the placement.
7. Qalif - I have to, despite the randomness that might give most of the time a flawed deck. Aside from that, the deck is gorgeous and has a “heaviness” that I like.
8. Royal Silk Red - (Gold/Silver) - of all the Royal Silk variations, this one is as close as it gets to perfection.
9. Tale of the Tempest Prism - what can I say? I like shiny things.
10. Venexiana Signature Editions - just for the hand drawn jokers. I’m just that easily impressed.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
Are we now sharing Top 10 Lotrek decks? Alrighty, guess I'll share mine - although I am not able to majority of older Lotrek decks, because I discover Lotrek too late, so here is mine:
My Top 10 Lotrek Decks
My Top 10 Lotrek Decks
- Qalif = Haven't got the deck in my hands yet, but since it shares the same artworks as Mystery III Craft and seeing Willow's photos, I fell in love with the color scheme
- Mystery III Craft = The amount of details are just very amazing. I definitely amazed on the amount of patterns I see done in hot foiling.
- Royal Silk Purple = The cards are ALL Gold foil, the artworks, the patterns, everything in gold.
- Tale of the Tempest Dynastinae = From the tuck box to the cards, the craftmanship is exceptional. While it suffers a reprint (ya know the story), learning the technique in producing the cards intrigues me.
- Tale of the Tempest Wylenti = The beauty of this deck lies on the patterened borders as well as the inverted back done in gold foil. And what makes this special: the deck was available in the campaign for killer cheap price!
- The Golden Rule = Love Lotrek's artistic rendition of the old Shakespeare deck. I only owned the Standard one - must be nice to see the Foiled edition...
- Silk Players = The gold ink plus the shiny gold gilding (so shiny you can see your fingers reflection) is so bling bling blong.
- Sanctitimus = Love the back design - how it almost resembles Christianity art tome (still hoping for Lotrek to create another Christianity art deck very soon).
- ICONS Anniversary = Getting this is sort of my redemption of missing the OGs.
- The Charmers Playing Cards = Classic playing cards designed for magician Kellar O'Neil. One of the Jokers is interesting, hot foil silver to be like a mirror. Although mine has the missed registration, so the foil for that mirror didn't sit in the frame.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I'll have to limit myself to the decks I own so my list will only be a top 5 (I only came to the hobby during the pandemic and therefore missed a number of releases).
1. Crypt - A couple weeks after I learned of custom playing cards I first heard about this deck. I don't know why I took such a gamble on it back then but something urged me to try and get one on the secondary market. In the end it became the deck that cemented my interest in playing cards. Without it I probably wouldn't be writing this post right here. All that makes it arguably my favorite deck in general.
2. Mystery III Crafts - What can I say other than that it's absolutely intricate and beautiful? That said I'm patiently waiting for Qalif and Mystery III proper.
3. Patrons Black - Elegant, sleek, great frontal fan. I love the gold on red colorway.
4. Royal Silk Red Gold/Silver - I haven't opened mine but I have opened all other Silk variants and I've seen the pictures. I didn't think the interplay between silver and gold would work this well to be honest. Should I ever open it I hope it holds true in reality as well (if not Gold/Gold will take its place here).
5. Fable - Still holds up as one of the more unique pieces I own (doubly so when I bought it). For some reason I really love the black corner of the tuckbox. It's what I always think of first when I think of the deck.

Great list, don't own cyrpt sadly but have the other 4 - I LOVE Fable - that tuck is probably my second fave after silk blue (which imo is the greatest tuck ever created)Dplay wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 2:12 pm I'll have to limit myself to the decks I own so my list will only be a top 5 (I only came to the hobby during the pandemic and therefore missed a number of releases).
