First season was pretty good the new one has issues but certainly not trash.

I think the second season is more of a bridge to the conclusion in the 3rd season, so it seemed less developed and incomplete. Looking at the only picture of the cards we have, I have a feeling this deck may have repeating courts as well.

The two seasons were filmed together and season three is in post-production, which is why many were likely left unsatisfied with the abrupt ending.

Of course it is my opinion, what else would I post here? I have kind of a god complex but even I wouldn't go that far to think that my opinion is objective truth.
Still I would argue that trendy and hype stuff that a lot of folks take pleasure in aren't certainly high quality. I've seen enough of marketing, public relations and know too much of Edward Bernays to take a majority opinion as some kind of quality label. I mean, the majority of the US voters voted for Trump so... majority means shit.

To clarify, only about 30% of the US voters did. About 36% of US voters did not vote. But I still see the argument you are trying to make.

The cards are lacking and could have been better. I'm really curious what the non-Bicycle Squid Game deck's cards look like.

This mod noted it - and as it was moved to thunderdome and not followed up on I decided that there was no need for me to deal with an argument/discussion that never ensued no less got out of hand.

I chose to let the sleeping dog lie - we have other mods and admins who can hop on it should they desire, and frankly I fully expect that one of them will when they notice it.

I am much more interested in keeping problems from arising, and have little interest in being the administrator of rules where such administration might cause more argument than it prevents.

I have a highly technical and demanding job outside of being a mod here and don’t always have the time to consider just how to best handle each and every violation here. Preventing arguments is why the rule exists and should arguments ensue the situation rises to the level where I take the time to act. Often this time is much greater than the words typed, as it takes time to consider exactly how to best handle each situation/personality involved to best resolve without hard feelings and mis understanding.

This is not some type of game to me - it is a job of keeping the peace where many very nice people expect peace to be kept.

Should anyone have filed a report on it, or should they decide to at any time, I will deal with it regardless.

I will also note that I took the time to type that, and this, for your benefit. You should not feel picked on or singled out - though I can certainly see how you can find posts from time to time that might make it seem so, there is nuance and circumstance that makes every situation different - adding to the complexity of always having to find the right words to put a problem to bed.

Lol, thank you, I won a $50 bet because of this, really too easy and predictable. But for a couple of days there, I thought I would be the one coughing up the $50.

I bet if someone put some effort into a blinged out, quality Squid Games deck, it will do very well. After all, the show had multiple award nominations and wins, and is the most watched Netflix show of all time, so there's probably an audience and an appetite for it, not withstanding certain minority opinions.
