Court art is trash to me.

I think trash is pretty harsh, Jazz. I was trying to think of what my issue was with this deck, and I think the art style of RoomOne doesn't match the aesthetics, or really capture the folk horror of Midsommar in my opinion. I'm not sure if this is an IP deck or not. Even if it isn't, a designer like Uusi feels more suited for this type of theme (I.e. Pagan)

Either way, I hope this doesn't feedback doesn't come across too harshly, Torres.

It is not my type of deck but my biggest problem would be the olive green color - maybe my least favorite color of all time

Thank you for all your comments. As a creator (along with Candice), I always understand and think that if you want to impress everyone, don't do design or create. There will always be someone who dislikes you or your creation. Even for me and Candice, we still look back at some of our older projects and complain about where we should improve or what we could have done better from the start. You can aim for perfection, but it will never be perfect.

For me, I would rather you guys give me comments so I know how I can do better or try to impress someone with a similar taste to you or JazzBaloo. For Candice, I will try my best to help her deal with comments like this or just change some wording, as some people aren't fans of the court of Midsummer.

But for the good of the whole playing cards industry and this forum, I really hope comments are not that toxic so more people can enjoy this hobby like we do. That's why we created IP playing cards too—not just for the money (okay, maybe a little)—but it's more about bringing more people to love playing cards. For me, it's always more enjoyable to create original designs than IP decks; you can let 100% of your creativity fly without 23rd drafts and approvals.

Art and design are always about connecting people. If it's not for you or you don't enjoy some part of it, just leave it or provide constructive comments on how the creator(s) can do better to connect with you. That’s how we make the industry better and stronger.l

Sorry to the creator. It was purposely excessive because I was checking something. Thank you Gandalf for helping me find something else. Once again sorry to the creator and artist for being my guinea pig because you didn't deserve that. Know that even though I dislike the art, it would take a lot for me to call someone's creation trash and mean it. Your deck is not trash. Sorry

Let's improve your image. How about you take some pics of decks you have and tell us what you like about them. Maybe people will then believe that you are not simply a troll

Just by a certain few people maybe . I'm not looking for deck collection appreciation or to improve my image amongst this crowd. I have no problem with Harvonsgard. I don't like the Squid game deck either. I wanted him to see what it's like when trash is thrown around. The privilege check was a bonus.

There was a report filed on your post that I had to contend with as well - otherwise I likely would have not noticed it, and most likely would also have not commented, as I have taken a quiet back seat on purpose to let you be as jazzy as you wish without interference from my tender sensibilities.

In this case I did my best to make the generic, applies to all request that we treat creators here with some tiny amount of courtesy while we are still free to fully express ourselves.

I am doing my best to provide an environment that all can feel comfortable with, including you jazz.

Near perfect. Ty. I did expect something along the lines of this is a creators thread and the bicycle deck is not. I could post my own thread and call things trash if that is the difference but I'm not interested in that. Someone flagging it makes a big difference and is what I will respect within the explanation. I'm not the word police but making light (or dark as you may see it) of hypocrisy is of interest. I also am not immune to this failure of character...you may throw the first stone if you dare. Really though, ty for your words as they brought the calm.

If 221 decks is accurate on P52, i have approximately twice that amount but idc about that. Some people have thousands. I'm not racing with anyone or in the want for proving myself or to be baited. All the decks that you and I own can be found online. P.s. I didn't assume that you made the report.
