Hello there, i hope you spent a nice time for the end of 2024!

I am happy to announce the alpha batch turned out ok and that i will be able to launch the crowdfunding! I think I’ll schedule it on kickstarter for the beginning of february. The idea will be to finance further copies of the deck to be made, probably going through WJPC (and if not let’s hope we acheive enough funding to go through cartamundi)

As a big noob in this domain, I’ll be grateful to take all of your feedback regarding this endeavor and to answer all questions regarding the execution of the project.

I’ll probably share, in the upcoming days, a retroplanning of how i want things to go!

Please consider taking 5 minutes to give your input, as i am sure every person setting up or participating in crowdfundings will have interesting things to say about them

Definitely can. As you build the page, Kickstarter will give you a preview/draft link so others can see the full page before it's live. Not to be confused with the pre-launch page.

Definitely cool to see it coming together. I think it could definitely benefit from more images of the deck and card artwork, but I imagine that is all in progress.

I think the Journey standard pricing is good - the main issue may lie in the premium gilded option. Jumping from €15 to €45 when the only upgrade seems to be gilding will not attract collectors, in my opinion. Just something to consider. I think the market expectation currently would probably be closer to €23 at the high end for a gilding upgrade - especially if WJPC is involved. Final note would be that the Trade Tycoon tier seems to be more expensive than the individual pieces. The tier is listed at €75 but the Journey Unlimited and gilded Unlimited would be €60 based on current pricing.

I want to see this project succeed so bad. I love the effort and the art style. I just think the pricing will be a huge hurdle for your premium options. I am only one voice, so please don't think I speak for everyone. I may be wrong and you may find plenty of backers at those price points. Best of luck with your launch and I will be there.

Yeah i edit it as it goes so i might i some typos left (already corrected some as i can’t seem to write available correctly) there will of course be more pics of the deck! For the premium option i could lower the price or i could add some things to it such as a rigid box or something. I also have to see with wjpc how it would be possible to have for example different backs without the production costs skyrocketing. Everything is a bit complicated at the moment ahah but i’ll figure it out with the help provided!

Also the photographer and I had a big preprod chat yesterday so pics and all promo material are very much on the table.

Finally the discussion with the manufacturer are going well so it is well on its way there too.

As an attachment, what i was envisionning in terms of color for the unlimited version!

Hello there

I just did a placeholder pic for the uncut sheets. These will be limited edition screenprinted ones. The final will prob be in the color scheme of the unlimited series (neon pink+blue) but I have to find my proofs to shoot em.

Also the art direction for the shooting is mostly done, some little things remain on the buying side, but I think I am pretty happy with the ideas and project hard in how it will look (super good).

I think the structure of the kickstarter is mostly done, all rewards are probably set, i am not super sure about the tees as they are quite the investment so i might cut them (i still have to contact the screenprint workshop for them, as i refuse to do them myself, as opposed to the jumbo decks & uncut sheets).

If you still see typos or unclear stuff please let me know, as i really want the project to be the best prepared for success.

Hello there! I realize i did not really share my values, so here are some! The pics are ofc not definitive but they give a preview of how it is going to look!
The flash makes the silver layer pop but i really need to get this photographer. I am pretty happy things are getting sorted out right now! I decided to modify the ks rewards a bit (goals are set but rewards are to be better defined)
