I just recently found out about this sometime in Oct 2024. I was puzzled why was PCD saying that their shipping operations resumed after Hurricane Francine hit Florida. They were in Nevada not Florida. (Granted I haven't been buying from PCD for a couple of years so I wasn't aware of the address change.)
So I started digging when did PCD move to Florida and finally found this link.

Turns out Will sold PCD sometime back in 2023 to Jim Daley. You can find Jim's profile on Linkedin and he mentions as much.

Colonnade Investors has recently completed acquisition of PlayingCardDecks.com, an online retailer of collectible playing cards.
There was no news on UC and FB about the sale. So I'm curious if there's anyone who knew about this in 2023 and when did PCD actually move to Florida. It was so quiet. I was aware we had some online stores closing and even Rareplayingcards being bought over.
But that's a credit to Jim and the new mgmt that the change was so smooth and they kept the things that Will did with PCD to the point no one noticed!

Re: Playingcarddecks.com sold to Jim Daley of Colonnade Investors
I made a purchase back in October and never had any issues. Glad to see the site is still up and running.
Will purchased a bulk load of decks from me back in the day when he was getting his site up and going. I still check it out once and while to see if any new decks come in.
Thanks for the update Eric.
Cheers,
KW

I had some great conversations with Jim at the 52+Joker convention. I asked if he intends to continue to produce PCD decks as well and he said that's the plan. Very nice guy. I think PCD is in good hands, which was important because Will was doing great things there.
"But why male models?"

Thanks for the link Eric. Interesting to see Will the businessman - that is what this is about NOT a passion for magic or cards
KoD - my initials, no wonder I grew up a lover of playing cards
