Kickstarter did have some site issues at launch that caused people to not be able to complete their pledge and in some cases they couldn’t see the campaign. I couldn’t even update or reload the page. They fixed the website issues at Kickstarter after about 3 hours.

Right now we’re tracking ahead of where I expected we’d be at this point.

To the other question about the goal. The decks are already printed and will ship in November. That’s covered in the campaign text or FAQs. So there’s ZERO risk that you won’t get what pledge for.
In the post just above, I inquired about the availability of the coin - I was referring to the spade-shaped coin reward from a previous Kickstarter you've run and was hoping a spare copy might be around somewhere. As far as Jazz Riff is concerned, the more I looked at the deck, the more I liked it. Congratulations on your success!

Not sure if you’re the same person who asked about the coin on IG, but we found 4 of those coins in our warehouse. I’m bringing those to 52 Plus Joker this week. If you’re not the same one who asked on IG, I’ll save one.

I'm not the same one, and I'd really appreciate you saving one. Thank you very much!

If it makes things easier, you could mail it along with my pledge from Jazz Riff. I can DM you my information. If you still have more than one after 52PJ (which I'm certain you won't, they're awesome), I'll be happy to purchase more than one. Thank you again!

Chris gave a preview of the deck at 52+J, and I enjoyed the opportunity to look through the foiled and unfoiled versions that he brought for us to look at. Gotta say, this one really is sweet. I plan to pick up a couple of the foiled versions for my trumpet and sax playing kids.

The cold foil version I ordered came in today and I really love the way the deck came out. I'd highly recommend this deck to anyone. So many elements were well executed. It's one of the best decks I got this year. The fulfillment window was also very short which I greatly appreciated.

My only complaint was with the lenticular booster pack. With 3 images on each card, the art appears very cluttered and difficult to differentiate. I wish there were more cards with less images packed on each card. Hard to complain when everything else is so great about this deck

Chris mentioned there's a thin film layer that you need to peel off, although to your point, if it's three images in lenticular fashion, that can definitely get a bit cluttered. I would imagine it would look better without that film layer.

It does look better without the film layer to be fair. The colors pop more.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the deck! I’m so glad you like it!

The booster pack feedback is also appreciated. This was sort of an experiment on my part and I’m glad we did them. I think in the future we will keep it to 2 images per card though.

Received my decks this past Friday and, yeah, these are definitely among my faves this year. Great illustration, great design, great theme, great manufacture, and great fulfillment. And Chris, that was such a nice touch, giving the extra spiff to backers who attended 52+J this year. Thanks for that!

Classy cards from a classy crew. Can't beat that.

I forget. Did we pay for shipping through the campaign, or not? I swear I backed something recently that said the shipping would be on us. Because I got levied a $44.72 customs brokerage fee one delivery.

Deck is great though. Parroting what others have said; this is definitely a DoTY contender for me.

Whoa, thank you for the really nice words! Would be really exciting to get a DOTY nomination for these.

For Shipping you did pay for shipping upfront, but we did not charge for import fees. The customs brokerage fee is the biggest bunch of bologna we have to deal with. It's not actually a customs charge. It's a fee paid to some third party who gets the package through customs. We never know when that fee is going to be applied. Where did the shipment go?

It's the shipping costs that put me off, same reason I didn't get it through KS. Local retailers or one that does free shipping would help keep the costs more reasonable for me.

UK. It's $15 shipping from Wondercraft (which isn't the worst I've seen) plus another 5-10 for vat which they add automatically which I understand but I've never been charged by customs when people don't include tax. The whole thing ends up being more than the price of the deck which just feels bad.
