Not good then for foreign printers or producers or customers that are relying on them if.... Well, still hoping for the best. The Fris cards are nice in my eyes, just not the price for me. Christmas is coming so maybe the sales will speak louder then.

Re: Secret of the Sea by FRIS Cards
JazzBaloo,
thanks for your feedback and appreciation.
We unfortunately couldn't print with USPCC because their minimum requirement of 2500 decks, it is really impossible for us at this stage in our career.
That said, the cards that you are purchasing for 28 are with gold foil, it was really an expensive production and with the tuck boxes of Boschiero & Newton, the production price raises a lot and it's very hard to sell them for less, but having said that, I wonder what would be, in your opinion, the right price for this deck.
The idea behind our decks is to have a luxury product, and I do hope that when all the backers will have the printed decks in their hands, they will see how this production was quite special and that the final result is truly impressive, we are absolutely happy of the printed cards.
We have also a surprise that will be announced very soon and I am very excited to say that shipping for all backers and customers will commence the 16th of November as the cards are finally in the USA.
Cheers!

Re: Secret of the Sea by FRIS Cards
price would depend on printer and features for me. Anything but carta or uspcc with foiled faces or backs and custom tuck from B&N... less than 20 usd is closer to where I would be for making a purchase.friscards wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 3:26 pm JazzBaloo,

Re: Secret of the Sea by FRIS Cards
WJPC printed those but with a special foil technique and premium paper with linen finish, just as uspcc does them. The cards came out really great and I'll be happy to know what the community thinks of them once delivered. In terms of price, it's very difficutl to have foil on the cards and on the tuck boxes by boschiero and newton for a retail price of under 20€. it's not the segment of our cards. We are thinking of a future deck aimed to a lower price but it won't be possible to have such tuck boxes in that case and I have to let you know the printing prices have raised a lot compared to when we printed The Elves Deck. We might have printed with WJPC but the price was higher than what we paid with USPCC.
