Hi all!
The last time I posted on this forum was about 10 years ago evidently …..can’t believe I remembered my login!
I was collecting cards back then, mainly off Kickstarter if I remember correctly. We are cleaning up for painters and I want to sell them. There are maybe 150 decks, all have been opened (very rough estimate!!).
Any advice for me before I take group shots and post them in the for sale thread? I really don’t want to catalog them. Is there a chance that something from that time frame might actually have some value??
Would very much appreciate some advice on this point. Is it worth my time to catalog them? I’m retired but lazy.
All the best!
Carolyn

I have no idea about value but I started collecting well after that so I would have interest in seeing what you have. I would think other more recent collectors might be interested also. With them being open that may detract some people. If they were only open to look at and so handled only once, that would not be a big deal to me as I try to open most of my decks. If they were well played with, then that would hurt my interest. I say take some photos and post them on the For Sale forum. You can get an idea on price by looking at Completed Sales on Ebay.

10 years!! Welcome back.
Definitely would love to see what decks and ephemera you might have, especially Lotrek's. I agree with what others have said before me.

I was avoiding cataloging my collection for a while because of laziness. I eventually found another project I wanted to avoid so I decided to catalog my cards. My collection is similarly sized and it took about an hour or two.

Thanks for your responses. It looks like I will have to catalog them - which means they will have to wait as we are busy lugging boxes around. BTW there are people on eBay asking insane prices for a couple I have but I don’t believe it. As someone mentioned the completed sales look much saner, but still make it worth cataloging.
