Re: FANG Vampire Cards by Night Town
art on the base deck is a little...weak (Jack is just a guy with a pitchfork)
some of the more advanced decks look ok but I tend to think this campaign is biting off more than they should.
plus the "best edition only comes in a brick"

I dislike having to buy a whole brick just to get the special one I want. Also, could you let me know who the printer is?
agree that some parts of the art seem a bit weaker compared to the tuck design.
also have the same question as the comment section: 'Has AI been used to create this project?'"

No, you are not.
And the creator has abandoned ship in terms of backer communication since the day the project launched and reached its symbolic goal with those 15 backers.
Not a good sign for any creator.

Same. Kinda sucks having to shell out over £100 just to get a specific deck.

Hope we're wrong. With each hit to collectors i lose some confidence in the hobby.wonderfulfacts wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 3:33 amNo, you are not.

I hope so too for everyone's sake.
But please don't lose confidence in the hobby if this one turns out bad.
There will always be the riskier investments, not just for Kickstarter but for any kind of online trade.
Even just for the crowdfunding platforms there are some fundamental advice for both debutant creators and newbie backers to follow. In this case a multitude of the most basic advice have been ignored on both sides which pave the way for a potentially bad experience.

Re: FANG Vampire Cards by Night Town
Interesting idea to have one-way and two-way variations on this.
Like the gold version of that back. The art itself goes alright, with more preference to the two-ways.
I wish there was a little more going on with the background of the courts.
Aside from the clubs that have a clear theme of fire going on, I wish there is a little more cohesion between the suits there (I think the diamonds are meant to be monsters and the hearts are vampires, but the Jack kinda looks like a Zombie?)
Of course, I think the issue have here is the Kickstarter Campaign itself, between the low backer requirement and the lack of communications.
I guess we'll see where this goes.

Re: FANG Vampire Cards by Night Town
The creator stopped responding to backers a few hours after launch and this still hasn't changed.
It has now been 13 days without any communication to backers even though someone has logged into the project account on an almost daily basis.
