Hi! Over the last decade I've created a range of playing cards, from Origins to Dynamo's Abandoned Room. Now, after more than a year of building a new brand in Sequel, the very first Sequel series, Wishers Playing Cards, is about to launch. That's this Tuesday 22nd October, 8am PST!

The Wishers series will have three main offerings - the Classic (Bicycle stock), the Professional (thin-crushed Bee stock), and the custom Founders Reserve Limited Edition.

Rick has emailed that there is a problem with US Shipping which he is fixing

Shipping can be a killer nowadays. I wouldn't mind if he adjusted Australian shipping too
To Australia the shipping for 2 decks is $17us, for 5 decks $24us. Not bad really but it hurts for 2 decks when you consider the 2 decks only cost $21us to buy Earlybird but it costs $17 to get them to Oz !!!

The name isn't a big draw for me although I do recognize his past projects. The decks are just modified standard? Are they marked or do they have any other special features that i am not aware of that would make them more than ordinary?

I must admit, it struck me that I don't feel like he has done much promotion or outreach for this campaign. I'm sure it would be filling up quicker otherwise.

I would say he's been gone too long from the frontline that newer collectors won't recognize the name and the decks are more standard vs the blinged out versions. He's been keeping busy though with other people's decks like Cobra and Dynamo's Abandoned decks, but his name gets left out or overlooked. So that could be one of the reasons for the slow uptake.

They're strict on reddit
Rick had posted on launch day and today he did another post featuring the gif kev posted above for me.
A couple complained that you are only allowed to advertise your product every 10 days and today's thread has been removed by a moderator

I understand that the faces are more standard than on some of his other decks but I see no reason for a deck designed by Rick Davidson to struggle to reach funding.
