Bicycle Core - Kickstarter Complete - now shipping!

You know, i missed out on backing this project, but i would have if i'd found it earlier. I've been tracking it ever since, so i could pick up a deck eventually from a re-seller.

It's been bugging me more than any other delinquent KS project, simply because this guy just lives on the other side of the river from me and goes to school in my town!

So, even though I don't have anything personally at stake, I'm tempted to drive over to his place myself and see what's up.
I'm pretty sure that wouldn't go over very well though...

As many have already mentioned, he should be on summer break by now, and he's officially out of excuses. has anyone heard from him yet?

I guess I kicked my own arse too soon for not being on KS to pledge on these and have been checking eBay to see if any popped up also, th4mo.

Hope you guys get some relief. There needs to be tighter constraints on these defaulters.

To answer an earlier question, this story can have a happy ending, but it's going to require that Timothy says something. He claims that his account is locked, but even if that's true he has contacts who can post something for him because they have in the past. This is just ridiculous.

He also hasn't responded to personal emails.

Time to start taking other action. I will be reporting him to his state's attorney general as well as his school.

Apparently he was reported to his school and is claiming to finish shipping within a couple days. We'll see if it actually happens, I have my doubts.

The message on Kickstarter said that the student ethics director at his school talked to him and he said he would ship all packages by June 28. If he started shipping when he made that statement, and he shipped in the order he originally promised, I'd have mine by now, but I don't (I live close enough that even parcel post should take less than 2 days). I haven't heard of anyone getting their cards yet. Lying to backers may get you reported to your school, but lying to an official at your school will get you kicked out.

Still haven't received mine yet but apparently he is shipping them, who knows though.

He claims he is shipping them. He told his cousin he is shipping them, and he told an official at his school that he is shipping them. But, I haven't heard of anyone getting them yet. It should take no more than 2 days for me to get them once he has shipped them, and there's at least one person in his city that is active on the KS forum. There are also none for sale on ebay. Given that, it doesn't seem likely that he has shipped any yet.

Finally got my cards. Never thought I'd see these come in. Postmarked July 26th in Portland, Oregon. According to the kickstarter comments page quite a few people are receiving these as well.

Normally I would agree with you but I got two decks as well. Not sure what his rhyme or reason is with sending them out. Hope you get yours soon.

Nothing was ever specified but us backers assumed it was he either ran out of money or didn't have time with school.
