Idk why but I find this adorable and like the borderless face cards. Maybe it's one of those examples of cards for art rather than art for cards.

This is a really charming and fun deck. Love the POV idea behind the theme. The courts are postcards of the rat's adventure. Very well thought out and excuted, IMHO. Looking forward to see what he'll do next.

Hey Everyone I'm the artist! I just joined the forum and I'm happy that my Kickstarter is already here. I'm going to do a full post later with the whole story and introducing myself.

here is a little context behind the deck: I created Lost in the City a while ago as a way to tell stories and adventures in NYC and have been selling stickers and prints for a while. As a failed magician and lover of board games, making a deck of cards felt like a natural thing to do and I'm very happy with how it's turning out.
This deck is indeed about the art first and the cards second. I have a somewhat established audience and sell merchandise in a few souvenir and gift shops around the city. So it's meant to be a fun and cute NYC souvenir rather than a traditional deck (I'll have fun making those in the future, I'm a fantasy artist after all).

The tuck looks to be made of PVC, like waterproof cards. Inside of the tuck has extensive artwork, and the deck itself is gorgeous. The full bleed court cards are also pretty cute, so I have to say, overall I'm very happy with this deck!
