As someone very new to the card hobby this saga fascinates me. I can't think of many other situations where a small business could be years behind on delivering a product yet customers maintain their subscriptions. I probably would have lost hope after two years and canceled. Looks like the faith placed in Lotrek may soon start paying off but in 99% of similar situations the companies never deliver.
I mean I backed a video game announced in 2012 that still hasn't left beta, yet has over $700M in funding and growing.

? How is it still growing and how the heck did it get to 900 thousand or million?
I went back and looked, its *only* at $724M I hadn't kept track of it the last few years its Star citizen/Squadron42.
How did it get there? selling virtual spaceships $30 to $2500 at a time (yes $2500 is the highest I know of).
The multiplayer game has been playable since 2015 I think it is (though only 2 of the 100 promised star systems are in game), but its still an alpha and the single player game (SQ42) isnt available in any form.

There will definitely be rewards like years 1-4 for year 5 contrary to the comment further above. I'm not paying $700 a year for a foiled print lol
This! Should I hang on paying $70 dollars a month for another year just to get a large print? It wasn't mentions of anything else. Besides first dibs or a free shipping code, I don't know what else.

Way I understood it, there would be a 5th year deck, and on top of that this foiled print. I'll ask him on the next Patreon post unless someone wants to message him and ask before then.
This comment has been mod-approved since you are able to see it.
Looking to buy (DM me if selling please!):
-Limbo v1 decks
-2017 NPCCD Bronze, Silver, Emerald
-2018 NPCCD Green Pawn & Missing Island decks
-Original Apothecary Prototype

The ‘A time of reflection’ post does say this:
Implies that 5th year Patrons at reward tier will have a yearly reward for year 5 Plus the foil print for being active at the end of year 5 cycle (August 2025)

I never said that was its kickstarter total, its made $722M AFTER KICKSTARTER using their own site, while they've buried it now their site tracks it. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/funding-goals

As I understand it the final year the higher priced years past tiers will go away and be replaced by a cheaper option.
That’s how I understand it too, and I’m happy to pay like €10 a month for behind the scenes stuff and early access.
I was close to cancelling not because of the delays, but for financial reasons but I’m going to stick it out to the end or I do think I’ll regret it #FOMO

My understanding was year 5 that starts in October will still be the same as the previous 4.
The print is extra to the decks.
After year 5 the tiers will reduce

Lotrek mentioned Gilded Sanctissimus will be avialable for purchase on his website later today
Odd that there's been no announcement except an Instagram post with pictures of the gilded deck.
The foiled collectors version of Sanctissimus is expected to be a Year 3 Patreon reward, so this gilded version might mean he's messing around with Sanctissimus right now. I'd be curious if this tuck will be any different to indicate it is the gilded version.
