Yes, thanks manu - another $41au postage (I hope Jackson gets a kick back from the Shipping companies )
Are you on the Delayed Shipping program? If not you can write to Customer Support to request for your account to be put on delayed shipping where they will hold all your deck purchases for 1 quarter and then bill you together. Then you'll be able to use the DELSHIP code to save on shipping.
They can delay it to another quarter if you only have 1 or 2 decks that quarter as I did for mine.
I have received my Crow Brand and I am a real fan. The term "Vintage Reimagined" could be replaced with "Vintage Honored"
These are definitely not for everyone. If you are not into history, classic, B&W, simple and especially 'buying decks for their backs (and tucks)' this is not the deck for you
I did not buy any gilded because I could not see how gilding would suit what I consider to be a somewhat 'rough' deck - I think this Squeezer would have been very much a workers deck 100yrs ago
Has anyone got a gilded?
Are they shiny black or matt?
I can imagine a flat black edge printing working OK

Still not sure whether I'm going to keep ths sub. The cards are certainly not bad, and the historical info really makes me want to support these! I would much prefer a booklet to a website though
At least there is info there for the Texan 36 There is nothing there for Crow Brand
You get the following card in the deck but it only takes you to the purchase page with no 'in-depth look into the history and inspiration of this deck'
ps I would still love to hear what type of gilding the special edition has - anyone?

I'll open mine when I get home later and let you know.

My bad, it's The Bird gilded version I bought, not Crow. Incidentally the gilding on The Bird is a shiny orange.
Thanks Adam, I have some of the gilded Bird on the way - the orange gilding seemed appropriate for them
Hey G, don't you have a gilded Crow or aren't you opening it

Unfortunately, due to some legal issues when we released those decks, we could not provide in-depth information on the Crow Brand as we did for Texan and Empire.
I am hoping that either Jackson or historian Jason McKinstry has a copy of the original 1910(?) Crow Brand that they might be able to post a couple of pics for - like Jackson did for Battle Axe in this thread. Surely USPC cannot stop one from doing that on here at least or else we are all in trouble
We do have the tuck pic that G saw on ebay

Jackson, would you be able to tell me what the gilded version of your Crow Brand is/was like? Gloss or Matt?
Sure, I would say semi gloss black. (enough to see some type of reflection) You can still see these product pics on my site just make sure you go down a bit and click the "Gilded" tab.
Thanks Jackson, I am glad I asked as you have made me realize I have been missing out on most of your pics for every deck!
I had not picked up on the
o o o o o o o o o o o
under the second pic as a source of more pics
I know this seems too stupid to be true but my excuse (pathetic that I need one to cover embarrassment) is that seeing a few pics on the page I wasn't really looking for more
My surfing just got so much better

Bummer! The Crow Brand took only 14 days to get here whereas APC Postal did not receive my Birds for 18 days and they are yet to leave the US. Normally it would not worry me but I go away at the end of next week

Thanks Team Robinson - arrived with one day to spare

Just wondering whether everybody's slip cases for The Bird Gilded were merely a sticker on a gray case?
I don't really want the slip cases - I was just surprised that they were just a sticker

With Jackson being the super creative person that he is, does anybody else think that his alternative name for Oriole may have had a little to do with 'flipping' it to USPCC
