(AI) Jazz Of The Moon by AI and Montenzi

Unread post by montenzi »

Hi UC!

As you may know, I offered two Ai decks to my Varius backers. But then I decided to create a completely new design :ugdance: Good news - I finally like it! 😄

1. Next week, I will post an update with instructions and a roadmap for backers who pre-ordered both decks. You'll have to select them again or request a refund.

2. I will start using my new CLUB site for all my presentations, behind-the-scenes content, and announcements. More details will be provided next week.

3. This time, I will produce two or three decks, with 200-300 in each edition (to be confirmed). Printed by WJPC.

I'll post a link later.

p.s. In a couple of months, I may also launch a subscription service directly from my website, without relying on Patreon. Just an idea: for a small fee, you could gain access to exclusive members-only content and decks without any obligation to make a purchase. TBC. This feature is already integrated into the site's engine. I just need more time to consider it.

I wanted to create a deck with a more abstract design, avoiding overly realistic faces and bodies. I believe my new approach works better for playing cards. I may still upload this design ready for self printing at MPC.

You don't have to buy. If I upload a digital copy, it will be free for members.

I'll add - when I created that first set of decks, I found it impossible to link them together due to a lack of consistency and because they were not 100% in the style that I prefer. The second deck was terrible and too realistic for my taste.

Gives me some Prometheus (the movie) vibes. I like it as well. Would love to have those on great WJPC stock but oh well, can't have everything.

All decks will be printed by WJPC! Their minimum is 200-300 decks (offset printing btw). It is much easier for me to manage 200-300 decks print run as I don't like stocktaking

But didn't you write the design above will only be available as a MPC print on demand? I'm confused, haha.

@HSBC posted the old design, which created some confusion, and asked if I planned to print it. No, I am not going to print that version, but I may still provide the files. I have not yet decided if I want to do so.

@HSBC  told you. Images == confusion. No images != confusion

 Hmmm. Who helped me? Of course, AI! But I designed the box and the back. It's not perfect now, but in maybe a year, it will be much harder to recognize AI-generated content.

It's easy! Some prompts ideas: https://www.reddit.com/r/midjourney/com ... _creating/ ... kind of

So, have I missed something...do I need to do something to get these, or is the original pre-order still in effect?

As you see, I haven't been paying so much attention recently :)

Good question!

I updated the first images since they disappeared when I switched my domain to Shopify. I had planned to produce the decks this summer, or possibly skip the project entirely. However, I’ve come up with some new ideas, so the project is not dead. I apologize for the delay!

I still recommend that backers (about 60 or so) who ordered the AI decks either use their balance in one of my current projects or request a refund. That said, I expect to have something ready in October/November. Rest assured, I haven't forgotten about this project, and IT WILL BE COMPLETED OR REFUNDED! If you need a refund, I’ll be able to process it once my next Kickstarter project is funded (around October 24).

Thank you for your patience!

P.S. After taking a fresh look at these old images, all I can say is—I still like them. Any new ideas won’t replace this deck. I’ll keep it, even if I eventually offer a new second or third deck.

I offered them during the Varius survey, you ordered some. However, as I mentioned, feel free to use your balance or request a refund.

As soon as I make the final decision, all of you will receive an email where I mention the number of decks ordered and other details.

I remember really liking these and ordering them thru the Varius campaign sounds familiar. I found my survey confirmation from Pledgebox and it shows I had an addon of $120NZ but nowhere in that confirmation does it show what was added. I assume it was these decks. Seems odd that the confirmation email would not be more descripitive of what was added.

If you open the main survey link, you’ll find the total number of decks you ordered. If you have an account with Pledgebox, it’s even easier to access this information as all your campaigns will be listed there. Pledgebox is quite a popular service, so it's worth registering. Thanks!

Hello again. You mention about using balance. Does this mean that I can order other decks on your web shop and get a discount by using the money put in the pre-order towards any other decks?

Correct! If you’re using my shop, just register and let me know so I can add shop credit. For Kickstarter, pledge $1 and also let me know. You don’t need to know how much you spent on the pre-order—I will add the correct amount to your Pledgebox balance so you can order anything during the survey. If your final balance is negative, you’ll only need to pay the difference.

P.S. My next KS project is another tarot deck (full and mini size), mini Legendarium, and possibly one poker deck. Plus, I will reprint the Legendarium tarot by November.
