Hi everyone!
I just found this forum, which is amazing. Wish I had found it much earlier.
Back in the days, I used to dabble with card magic (both MtG and actual sleight of hand card magic). I ordered a large quantity of Bicycle and Bee decks from the US (they were very expensive in Europe those days), and I still have stock left which I use when I'm playing card games with friends and family.
Right now, I am more active in the board game industry, and launched a card game called Monsters of Loch Lomond. This year, I am planning to make game based on a deck of standard playing cards. And for this purpose, this forum is a gold mine of information and resources - so thanks a lot to everyone who has already shared their experiences, preferences and their favourite decks. The community also seems very welcoming, so I am already very happy to be a part of it.
I hope to interact with many of you in the time to come!
Cheers,
Robin

Welcome to UC robins. There are tons of playing cards, so I am sure you will find some to fit your style and make it your own. Good luck with your project.
As for my favorite deck, it is impossible to say, but probably Heretic by Stockholm117. Honestly, I like many artists for different reasons. Hopefully you find a design that suits you and you just get inspired. That is I think the best way.

This is a card taken from my favorite deck, Japanese Women, by Keiichi Takasawa.

Thanks for the warm welcome and sharing your favourite cards or decks.
The Heretic deck is really beautiful, looks so classy.
The Deutche Karten seems really old. Since it's old spelling, pretty cool.
And the Japanese one is just a work of art.
Many thanks!!

Re: Hello! Just started working on my first card deck
It’s a modern(ish) homage to an old deck - this one made in the 1982 and 1990 (two batches)
