Mine came in as well

I don’t know that I share the wjpc love, I think cartamundi would have done as good or better but yes these came out very very well.

First the presentation. I’ve said in the past and I stand by I don’t care about non card based components especially wood boxes I’m just going to throw away or store. Here it actually gave a bad first impression as the inner piece of material had both 2 layers of protective film still on it making the whole thing look hazy and in one place made the glass look like it had been scratched end to end.

Fixing all that you get a good package but one that will never exist again as the coin goes in a drawer and the box somewhere it will never see the light of day again.

Opening the cards. We have 2 very nice tucks and well foiled backs

Continuing that as mentioned in a previous post the details are well done and very clearly printed.

Overall I’m very happy, this certainly isn’t an inexpensive deck but it is the kind of thing I will always back.

But Omar, I did have one problem that you might want to be in the lookout for. Two of the cards (that I’ve found) had “dirty smears” on them and I don’t mean spots. Like someone drug the thing across the card smear.

Fortunaly the finish on cards was not damaged and I was able to gently rub it off with just my tshirt.

The cards look good. It's a shame to pay almost 100$ for the whole thing when you only want the cards. I wonder how much the display and coin is worth for resell.

Im not interested in reselling, I dont have the patience for it for $10-$15 at most.

I barely have the patience for it for 3 or 4 digits.

I was looking these over in more detail tonight, and looking back at what's been released so far this year. I think Goldsmith is the Deck of the year for me so far. So well designed and implemented. Eye of the Ocean v2, Onda v2, and Corrupted are still to come this year so it'll have some challengers. But I don't know that they'll surpass this.

I have not followed this deck as bling is not my thing (Goldsmith however had to have bling)
No doubt they are portraits of Gutenberg people but the faces of the pictured spade courts don't grab me

There’s also a protective film on the acrylic insert. Please remove it from
Both sides to get clear view.

Mine arrived as well. There is some minor smudge in the bottom of the wooden box (inside) and also on the magnetic lid. But I still think this is a nice collectors item. The cards are great although I'm not a huge fan of the gilding.
