I realize I never said hello, I just started posting in July after lurking in the OATH'S PATREON topic for many months. But I see that I actually joined the forum in 2017! I didn't think I had started collecting playing cards that early, but upon further investigation I supported TWI's Omnia Kickstarter in 2015. That sent me down the rabbit hole, falling very slowly at first but full steam by 2020.
I've collected Tarot decks since the late 1980s. If memory serves, I discovered custom playing cards on KS while looking for new Tarot decks of a more indie variety than those churned out by U.S. Games and Lo Scarabeo.
I am a middle-aged married woman from Massachusetts. I also collect Barbie dolls, as signified by my avatar. What else do you want to know? My signature has links to Portfolio 52 and Pinterest, where I catalog my collection.

Your signature line is the one I used when I got my first UNIX account, I won't tell you how long ago.

Ah, the days of ".sig"
Do you recall the "fortune" command? At one point, I was able to get a printout of the entire contents of the file that we had on our school's UNIX box. I still have it. Dot matrix printing with the hole-feed sides and everything. Bwahahaha. It's been decades since I've been on a system that still supports that command.

Re: A very belated introduction
I was never that advanced! I just posted on my college bbs. I didn't even venture onto usenet until years later.
I certainly remember dot matrix printers! That was my first printer at home as well, an Imagewriter that accompanied my Apple IIc. Did you ever play the Infocom text adventures?
