So am I right in thinking that after having 2022 Vintage Reimagined as Limited (800) at $35 for a sub (300 subscribers) and $40 for the public, Jackson had to revert to Standard at $12 (and Gilded) in 2023 because apart from El Dorado which is sold out, there are hundreds of 2022 limited editions of 800 editions still sitting on a warehouse shelf

Are Bird (481), Crow (466), Empire (207) and Texas (187) going to go on special one day for somewhere closer to $12 than $40?

I hope so, I really like the Bird and Crow Brand decks. The latter was on sale recently for something like $20

I really do like the design there of the Battle Ax deck. The courts are standard, but elegant. Great font choice, great borders.

I took a couple of picks of my original Battle Axe Deck, so you could see the silly original joker.

thanks I looked to see if I could find it after your first post, it looks like there were at least 2 different decks called "battle axe" the other had aviator cards in it.

I never found a picture of this variant.

Also of note: JR stated that the only reason the Table Players Gilded subscription is being continued is because they already had designed the decks, and the gilded were far more popular than the standards, so QED they're letting this subscription play out with only the one variant. But other than that, for the time being, they're getting out of the subscription business model to turn attention to other projects that don't benefit as well from that model.

I think thats a bit doom and gloom, he had waiting lists on every gilded edition plus a number of people on the regular subs.

thats probably still in excess of 1000 decks a month being shipped out maybe much higher, which by most peoples measure would be pretty good.

If youre trying to be theory11, no.

He said the grind of 3 more decks every month was making it hard to make the decks as good and/or as creative as he would like. He didn't have time to push it as far as he wanted. Without that constant deadline he can now focus on making his designs more complete and playing with different ideas.

I can't believe I stuffed up so badly. I saw that The Bird and Crow Brand were on special in the email I received about the Wednesday Weekly Update but thought I would wait until Monday as that is a new Visa month for me
I just got around to watching the Update - THEY WERE ONLY ON SPECIAL FOR WEDNESDAY :( I am so sad

Yeah, he moved to Deck of the Day now instead of the week. Some of the deals were crazy, like $1 for Oz V1, $100 for 144 and along with the Bird/Crow deal, he threw in 1 random TP deck for orders over $50.

Gotta schedule the Wed Weekly updates and watch the IG and email newletters for the details.

No worries @🍯🐝. If they did not sell out, they will most likely be on sale in the future again.

Some might argue way too often, haha. I currently don't even own a PC. Tablet, smartphone and smart tv make it way too easy to live without a desktop for me.

Thanks manu. Thinking of how to do it. Last time I could combine Crow Brand and Bird (the one I really want multiples of) both on special which spread shipping. Shipping for 1 deck is more than the deck and shipping then goes up for 2-7 decks so 7 decks is the value.

The mug was made by a company called Deneen pottery. They have a lot of wonderful mugs, especially a bunch based on the National Parks. I've been making it a tradition to buy one every time I visit a National Park.
