I have the originals but love the look of these although I may have to warm to that back
KoD - my initials, no wonder I grew up a lover of playing cards

By the way, what about standard USPCC courts?
The back design is definitely asking for some foil. Again, all images are unedited (except heads) and without color correction.
I am not going to post instructions, but I confirm that even now, all of you can "design" a deck of playing cards, and this deck might be better than the standard one.
P.S. Ok, instructions: In Midjourney, add an image and type, "I am not a designer, so please recolor this image for me in some retro playing cards style." That's it. Easy.

Im finding it depends how the coloration comes out. For example I like the shading better on this one than your last screenshot, but the more vibrant coloring on the upside down face better than either.montenzi wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 9:57 pm By the way, what about standard USPCC courts?

Wow! What is this deck? Love those tight court illustrations.montenzi wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 9:57 pm By the way, what about standard USPCC courts?

Re: VARIUS Playing Cards by Montenzi (KS)
Styles are not random but very adjustable. If I need more shadows or a flat image, I can do it. If I need to change the style, I can do it. Once I find exactly what I want, all images will be in a similar style. However, sometimes I'll need a separate style for queens if I fine-tuned a style for kings. Let's say, I can use the same style for my Varius deck, but I have to modify it for queens in a classic USPCC deck. It depends.
It was just my experiment on using AI in playing card design. It's not a deck, but a proof of concept. Source cards - standard USPCC deck. Then I used AI tools (public and private) to modify the courts. That's it.
