My guy has come thru on the Heroku deck! He doesn’t even want any money; he’s just chuffed that we like the deck.

I'd love to get one if it becomes available. Cards produced by tech companies is quickly becoming a favorite sub-category in my collection, and these look great!

How much are Hanafuda sets like these typically? I'll leave it to the fans to collect these but I do like the palette on that Heroku one a lot! Good on them for creating something really pretty and explaining their process behind it too.

So I'm counting on the wizard GandalfPC and Timmargh to keep everything straight. If the "team" really does release more decks in June and Gandalf ends up with less than "5 or 6" maybe I can get them then. Maybe Heroku needs its own thread?

Well, it's down to Gandalf more than me (no pressure) as the guy I contacted has passed my details on as only wanting one deck, whereas Gandalf's knows he wants multiple (I assume).

Ah, thought I was going to get the jump on you with Cameron's news, but twas not to be. I love her artwork, but some of the cards in my deck seem dark and muddy. I wonder if MPC will have corrected any of that.

They were 12 bucks - seem pretty playable - also have a quality that says “paint color sample”

Definitely a good price. In the first pic I was like "Cool, pretty colors, awesome shape, funky design." In the second it was more "Those white boxes on ALL the cards really annoy me." Be sure to post your own pics when they come in!

I did push my limits, but unusual enough and the white boxes have all the scoring info which should be handy for many - the form factor does seem nice for keeping your scoring pool laid out on a small table
