Well at least it's a new design and not another version of a previous deck.

Interesting concept, would have liked to see one as a normal deck size as well instead of just square, but then again I'm unlikely to buy from KWP unless it shows up on Penguin Magic.

Not for me, but great for little ones being introduced to cards.

I'm still outgrowing my wooden alphabet blocks.

Gorgeous! And I love the colors! But from my experience, I know that I can't riffle shuffle square decks to save my life, so regretful pass for me.
I'm not as interesting as I think I am.

Same here, I am definitely attracted to minimalist classic designs but I prefer Lorenzo's Red Solitaire

While correct, it's still just the heads of the standard courts he uses for ages now.
I do like the concept a lot though and they are very reasonable priced. Two good points to buy but not enough points for me to purchase.

It seems a lot of artists do this these days. I guess it's tough balancing out artwork on courts. Designing new courts is probably time consuming and requires different proofs for printing. On the other hand being recognizable and allowing for playability is most likely what kings wild is aiming for.

I would not think a square deck is really thinking about playability, in deciding shape or the Courts
On the other hand placing a full body or half a body on a square is going to result in a lot of space so heads only is very clever

I can't seem to find much info on these yet but does anyone know the relevance of the 3 different colored stickers on the top?

Yes I believe that to be the printer. I wonder how cheap they print cards for.

The square deck is fun, I hope Jackson makes more decks in this size and I can have a little boxy sub-section :ugthink:

These decks are fun, and the price is right. Alas, I really want the gilded ones (because the standard blocks also have the edges painted), but alas, both times they were sold out by the time I looked. Maybe next time!

The blue now available to the public. Gilded sold out again so he's not really adjusting based on demand.

What will the colors be? I always thought it would be blue, green, red, and yellow. Is he doing a purple and orange, perhaps?

I have no idea what the two colors will be, but the final count is 6 in total, according to a scoop in KWP’s Discord
