*sigh* this is a PERFECT example on how brands are taking Holographic Foil for granted...
And to my surprise, it took a very LONG TIME for this to eventually sold out, despite DG being a hype brand. My mind just blown knowing people are willing to BURN money for these OVERPRICED double gilded decks set

While it being beautiful holographic foil…. I sense that Dealersgrip will be using their flower deck as a milking cow

$27 per deck - could have been worse

Need to be a pretty big fan to go for it all - you could grab just the few you might like cheaper.

I genuinely feel sorry for dealersgrip completionists, but if you haven't abandoned the hype drops yet, more power to you.

Why not have a higher print run for your fans though?

I owned most of DG decks, and I am picky of the themes

The doublebrick is good for those who want a complete DG in one go - so easy skip for me

Maybe he had only 24 decks left from older decks. I would assume these are from private stash so Oliver makes some buck with only printing a special box and no new decks.

Surprisingly they are still available after all this time. I wonder if it's the high price tag or the current market 🤔

I think it's fair to say both to some degree. As a collector, about $27/per deck is a bit high. As a retailer, easy pass. My concern is going for it and then having these collect dust.

That and most people don't have $652 to drop all at once

And to me it's the worst kind of double-dip -- the sort of superfan who would buy this would already own most, if not all, of these decks

Perhaps we will be seeing who is the suspiciously rich to get this, and then later it popped up on eBay to be sold for $3000

And yet, there are people who buy or collect decks but have no idea what's going on at all. Twenty-four decks are certainly interesting, but only for a second (at least for me). What's most important is that the same can be said for all of us. We are all in approximately equal conditions, and we are only the subject of interest in extremely rare cases. To each his own. And there will always be a person, even one in a billion, or better, when more, who will appreciate your work. We produce such items for them. It's good, isn't it!
