Re: New deck(s) coming from Jason Brumbalow
For those who don't know...
Jason Brumbalow was behind the concepts for the following decks
All versions of Artifice, Arcanes, Infinity, LTD, Bike gaff, Arcane Gaff, ShadowMasters, Masters, Black Ghost, 1800's
and out of those...
100% art for: ShadowMasters, Masters, 1800, Bike gaff, arcane gaff
Lee McKenzie and him worked 50/50 on artwork for: Artifice, Arcanes, Infinity
Peter McKinnin did the LTD logo and Joker design, he did the rest.
I'm looking forward to seeing his new deck(s)

Hey everyone,
Thanks for the thread CBJ. Unexpected, yet appreciated.
I do have a few concepts in the works, that I'm extremely proud of, however they're raising the bar on the manufacturing of decks, so it's a long and painful process. I'll keep the updates flowing in as I get them.

Re: New deck(s) coming from Jason Brumbalow
If it's not a laser cut, foil embossed tuck case with inside-the-box customizations and a fully customised deck with custom pips, courts, backs and jokers printed with metalic, glow-in-the-dark ink on the finest of stock with the smoothest finish (and thin borders for MagicFingerz, of course) then I'm not interested.JasonBrumbalow wrote: I do have a few concepts in the works, that I'm extremely proud of, however they're raising the bar on the manufacturing of decks, so it's a long and painful process. Re: New deck(s) coming from Jason Brumbalow
Rather, be mindful of the outside of the (tuck)box,
but put lots of amazing work into the deck inside the box.

Re: New deck(s) coming from Jason Brumbalow
Agreed, 1800's is a great deck. Especially when they revamped them for better handeling a while back. I was disappointed when Jason left E. Not the E is a bad company now but I think when he left it did change things not for the better. I was very pleased to read this thread and see Mr. B is still producing cards. The LTD is amongst my favorites, it is just so classy to do tricks with and the Arcane is in a world of its own. I pestered e onetime to get a signed Arcane deck, by that I mean I just asked a couple times but they said they don't do that. So yes, anything Jason produces is something I will be interested in.Eoghann wrote:My personal favorite is the 1800 series. Very excited for this new deck.

Does this mean that no decks are in production yet ? Or just that we can expect many more decks to come ??JasonBrumbalow wrote:Thanks for the good words guys. I promise not to disappoint. The concept notebook is filling up fast.....

Re: New deck(s) coming from Jason Brumbalow
That's interesting. When E launched Ultragaff (one of their many gaff decks), they offered a limited number of decks signed by designers Wayne Houchin and Daniel Garcia, added free to randomly selected orders placed early during the launch window. (I lucked out; it's one of the only things I've won from E among their special promotions.)walrus wrote: I pestered e onetime to get a signed Arcane deck, by that I mean I just asked a couple times but they said they don't do that.
I wonder if that experience proved problematic, or if E's response to you (walrus) was just a case of the logistics being too much to manage when their designers aren't "in house". Jason, were you on location at E headquarters? What about you, Peter? I seem to recall that Wayne was *not* based in the same town....
Back on topic: Mike, are you able to order from Murphy's? Will you be carrying these new bad boys once they're released?
