These are marked in two ways on the backs, along the edges and also built into the design :ugthink: Double-backer and jokers (same as box back) are marked too! There was also a mix-up with my pledge that Peter X helped to resolve quickly and easily :D

for magic use I will still stick to my butterflies for the side markings - though for those with my eyes and brassier balls I imagine you can get away with these all day long

had they just had the short end marks I think I would have gone for them though - not a spot the butterflies are marked and it seems a bit less noticeable there as well

nope - still gives me the willies

It’s also exposed on the flat stacked deck - so you would need to actively hide it - a deck that wanted gilding

It's a nice deck to work with and I quite like it as that but... damn... 22.00USD for a worker's deck? Not feasible imho unless you're a filthy rich magician or one that doesn't have a lot of gigs.
Kudos to USPCC for the registration btw.

I don’t know why I let bolder markings get to me - I know as well as anyone that they just aren’t going to be noticed when used appropriately - the things you can get away with are absurd - so why strain my eyes on subtle marks…

I guess it comes with the raised awareness for such things. Whenever I see court art that is full bleed my immediate thought is: "not playable since it is edge marked". Most non-collectors don't really bothrer.

Thank you all for your feedback and support. We truly appreciate it.

Unfortunately, USPCC does not gild borderless designs as their gilding process requires the edges to be sanded and that would chip away some of the colors on the edge. On the other hand, the collector box will have one of the gilded prototypes by MPC. We will add it to our website once we get the boxes made.

I've been using this deck for more than 7 years and I haven't had anyone (even many magicians) notice the back marks or the edge marks. I would say if you bought the deck and any spectator (non magicians) notices any of the marks while you're performing, we will be happy to accept your return and offer you a full refund. We want more people to test this deck and give us honest feedback to make it better :)

For the pricing concern, we believe our price is fair for what we put in the deck and what you get. We tried as much as we can to bring down our price while keeping the quality high. However, you can get the deck for $17 if you buy 10 or more.

We are happy with the USPCC registration. We put enough tolerance on all edge marks to be inside USPCC's registration tolerances so even with the worst alignment, the edge marks are still visible and clear. This also allowed this deck to be the first and only edge marked factory-cut stripper deck. We will offer stripper decks soon on our website.

Please let us know if you have any more questions, concerns or feedback. Thank you!

Wow, I find it amazing that you "haven't had anyone (even magicians) notice the back marks"
Maybe it is because I am a real Backs Collector but just looking at the backs in the last 2 pics (next to the Joker and the KoH) and there is a world of difference
KoD - my initials, no wonder I grew up a lover of playing cards

Spectators are going to put their focus somewhere - where is usually magicians choice ;)

It is clear on the screen because it is unnaturally zoomed. But in real life I believe they are well disguised. I've been going to a lot of magic conventions and showing the deck to many magicians and see how long they take to find the reader marks and sometimes they don't find it at all. But I totally understand that some magicians will see them instantly.
