Wow. Those are STUNNING. Though, $11-$14 for shipping is a bit much for my tastes.

CDtC is a mad genius. They may not be to everyone's taste, but the "fully custom" aspect makes their decks some of the most unique one can own. These are not quite for me but at the same time I can't wait to see them realized.

Even though I would not be playing with them, I still like my art decks to be playable

I agree. They aren't for me but CDtC puts in so much effort, detail, and creativity that you have to respect it.wingedpotato wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 10:25 am CDtC is a mad genius. CDtC is so freakin' unique and so amazingly good. I rarely go in for boxes and presentation, but holy cats, the Eye of the Kukulkan -- I got the full box treatment on this one, and was stunned at how much better it was in reality than the hype that promoed it. The cards *are* playable, although they are just a little bit busy to bring out for a game, but just pulling them out to enjoy them... Mmmm. Going forward, Charmie is now a "must buy" when there's a new project. I won't be picking up the full kit this time (nor did I with the previous project), but I will always get the decks at the very least and some of the additional swag. THIS is why I get into collecting. So much attention to detail, and so very pleasing to the eye. Oh, and the manufacturing quality is also top notch. I mean, when a gilded deck fans perfectly EVEN WHEN THE CARDS ARE LIGHTLY EMBOSSED, you know you're working with a team that knows what's what.

For me, Herman is the model of a good creator.
Innovative elements, interesting themes, well-executed with great attention to detail. An artstyle that is distinct but doesn’t feel samey from deck to deck.
And, best of all, well-constructed campaigns that run smoothly and aren’t over-hyped or overloaded with decks. It doesn’t hurt that he is super friendly, grateful and communicative either.
Not all his decks grab me personally (most I adore) but I think he deserves a ton of respect.

Shipping costs are quite high when it comes to add-ons. It's over 5$ usd per deck. Herman didn't figure out how to offer lower shipping rates yet? Regardless though it works out to approximately 25$ usd per deck with shipping included. That isn't too bad.
