Thanks for the background.

Also, glad to hear about dropping the "aged" look. Hard to do convincingly, and I think these will be better off without it.

The story mentions that you are undecided whether to ship from the US or Greece. I think shipping from the US will save a lot of collectors a lot of money in shipping charges. It will hurt the number of US backers you'll get if there are high additional shipping charges because it must come from Greece.

What you might do is this: Anyone who is just getting card decks and lives in the US or Canada, ship their stuff from the US.

For those backers in Europe, and those getting non-card add-ons, determine if 2 shipments works out cheaper of if shipping their cards to Greece and combining it with any add ons is cheaper.

Having an international partnership like this can be a big benefit when it comes to shipping because you can get the best of both words... North American backers' cards shipped from the US, European backers' cards shipped from Europe.

Thank you guys! You're awesome!

I'm very excited and also anxious about all this! I hope we'll make it.

About the aged look: I still love it but as I said to Scott (Tuck Case), only on the screen. Printed is a bit "fake" and apart from that, I think it may has been used a lot lately. So I'll have a soft yellowish tone instead.

About shipment: All decks will be sent from the States, no matter the destination. Backers who will pledge for not only deck rewards, will receive two packages:
One from the States, (containing the decks) and one from Greece, containing the other rewards. Shipment of thousands of decks from USPCC to Greece is very expensive if I want them fast and very slow if I don't pay crazy money. Also it's really stupid having so many decks doing twice the trip over the Atlantic! I will only send from here the signed items (decks and uncuts) which is affordable.
So, some backers won't get all their rewards the same day but they'll definitely get them! Shipping from Greece to the US takes about 5-7 days.

But all this is after the deck gets funded, and I count on your help for that. ;)

As for the time, it's in the morning. So don't get too drunk the night before!

I agree with Samourai007, it's much interesting for EU backer than me to send your package directly to Greece ! It's wil do work the economy over there.... So perhaps, EU backer more pledge since they know it ?!

I rarely comment on looks of deck or stuff but I had a question for you.... I love collecting card boxes with decks like the Theory 11 Artisan boxes and when you went live I pledge for the collector box. I was on my smartphone and did not see a pic of the box until I arrived home.. How hard would it be to engraved something on top of the box a bit like what Theory 11 did with the Artisans? Instead of the half moon logo glued on there it would be nice to see the masked face with the Venexiana word just like on the tuck box...I assume it would be hard but for $110 it would give the box that extra uniqueness

Anyway just a suggestion

Thank you badpete69! So, it was you, eh? :D

Your idea makes sense but what you see on the box isn't just the logo glued. It's engraved on metal and then glued. In reality it's more beautiful than what it is in the photo. However, I believe that your idea is doable and that it could be really beautiful. I see that many people like the wooden box and if I have more backers pledging for it I may release this second version and let people choose. But the truly unique feature is that these boxes are entirely made by me.

It'll be a creative idea to have the mask on the tuck box to be an actual mask or some kind of replica of it. Better as a statue/model because people would look goofy wearing it.

I think fanatic means to have the mask constructed and offered as an add-on. I believe this would cost a LOT.

By the way, the deck just hit $6000. Very good so far!

Really excited for this deck! I've pledged for two for now. I like the mask idea but that would definitely cost a lot even if 3D printed. But hey, I'm all for it if it turns into a stretch goal. :)

It's very difficult though. That would be a project like Empire's Warrior card armor (which I'm sure a lot of us wanted) but we couldn't reach the stretch goal.

Just how the courts have masks in their hand is why I thought of a mask being a stretch goal. I wouldn't know what it'll be made out of but something you can have on your desk, shelf or wear to to a party. Lol.
