Thanks for the replies. Yes it seems I am far from the only one waiting for fulfillment. I have sent a few DMs on Kickstarter, and don't feel it's right to bother Jack, as others have pointed out he was only the artist. I'll try the info@seasonsplayingcards.com email address, but I'm not optimistic that'll have much effect. I think it's just going to be a very looooong wait, but still holding out hope that he'll come through.

The decks are produced and I imagine just waiting for direction and resolution. Hold out hope!

I got an email response from Alex today to my email sent 10 days ago. Seems like he is responding to emails as quickly as he is able, though I still haven't had any response to my two DM's on KS. Now I know that I haven't been forgotten, and that's all I really wanted. I don't doubt that he'll come through, and I'm willing to just be patient. Thanks Bradius!

It wasn't dropped. Did you somehow get a prototype? The prototypes weren't gilded.

I remember Jack sending around a note that some went out ungilded by accident and offered replacement (I actually got one, but I got a bunch of gilded as well, so I kept it)

At this point, even JBP hasn't gotten his own artist stock yet. I had given up waiting for Alex resending my lost shipment and wanted to buy my missing decks direct from JBP. But even that, I'm outta luck until Alex turns his attention back to Nazo Nazo.

He wrote in a comment about 1 mth ago:

Regarding the gilding, I don' know entirely what happened between Alex and Gambler's Warehouse, creating this issue, not how they are addressing it. Regarding the other two, I still haven't received any of my pieces of this project and so cannot confirm anything. You are welcome to send me images of your pieces so that I at least understand. All stock is held at GW and is in Alex's control - case in point, GW won't release my stock to me regardless of documentation that I show them without receiving written consent from Alex.

I imagine it was intended for post campaign sales for new collectors or people who wanted more. Similar to how Jocu did Onda. The campaign had gilded versions and anything outside of that would be ungilded.

Makes it valuable to back the campaign and still allows others to collect after all is said and done.

You could very well be correct especially since he mentions talking with GW. A couple of ways to read that though.

It probably depends on your state - some offer long protections against pre-orders that never fill - but yelling at your credit card company can do wonders sometimes.

He’s referring to the update Alex provided when fulfillment happened a long time ago. Not current state.

I hope you are all well, and write this only with the positive sentiment of clarity in mind. I was directed here as there seems to be a little misunderstanding about some of my phrasing. To clarify, I have not received response from Alex since approximately October-November 2023 (last year), though I continue to send emails requesting urgent response (approximately once a month) and have tried contacting on all channels available. The recent sign of being open to some discussion and help is in regards to Gambler's Warehouse, and I would add that I have also been pursing them monthly for the same period of time and these steps were only made in response to me indicating I will have to take stronger measures to resolve the situation. The 97% figure has been stated various times, which comes from one of Alex's own last updates last year. In collecting people's information, I am attempting to verify this figure among other things. You are, of course, always welcome to contact me directly and confirm anything I share.

A little explanation, please skip this paragraph if you are not bothered. So, there has been much back and forth. Eddie of Gambler’s Warehouse claims that Alex has not paid for shipping for unsent items, and so is willing to ship them to backers with the above specified proof if the backer pays for shipping. The funds the campaign had for these events are in Alex’s account and I simply do not have enough personal savings to cover all shipping fees. So, it is with great regret that this is the best I think I can do on my end. Also to clarify, I do not have any items and Eddie is currently yet to agree to ship my inventory. As I have over the last year, I will continue to do all I can to resolve this project as best as possible. I apologise for the inconvenience.

Its so unfortunate considering how much pride you clearly have in both your projects quality and the relationship/reputation you've built with your backers. I really hope Alex is okay, but I have difficulty at this point conjuring up sympathy for him considering the effect his disappearance has had on so many.

Thank you for the kind comment. It has been a weight I did not expect in so many ways. I likewise hope that Alex is okay. And can only keep trying to create things that are special and show everyone that this project does not represent how I communicate and engage with the community.
