Re: Orbit - Black Hole V1 Edition
They have generally sold out of 23,000 runs in the past so 10,000 may be on the money
Not for me this time
(V1 is interesting/optimistic?)

Not really unique if you know @shivray_morzaria, a cardist who pretty much coined the term cardestroy. His latest video with @lotusinhand also had the similar concept with the red echos in it [at 2:22]

Not to mention that @missingnewyork did the Holy Playing Cards last year.
I still like these Orbits here a lot. I don't get the why 10,000 copies question. He trys not to dabble too much into the scarcity hype marketing other cardistry/magic brands do and I think this is good.
A huge plus for me personally is, that the hole pretty much destroys the standard courts, lel.

Re: Orbit - Black Hole V1 Edition
I see a lot of custom decks that struggle to move 1000 or 2000 copies of much better designs, so when I see something like this the looks gimmicky I don't see how they can sell 10,000 thats all.Harvonsgard wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 9:15 am Not really unique if you know @shivray_morzaria, a cardist who pretty much coined the term cardestroy. I get the impression from above that they have a following in a different market that could gobble these up so thats cool I guess.

Re: Orbit - Black Hole V1 Edition
Orbit has indeed quite a community behind him but he doesn't want these decks to be gobbled up would be my guess.

Wait they say this was printed when Cartamundi was still in Belgium?

Re: Orbit - Black Hole V1 Edition
Yup. The reason I'll pass on these. B9 is already too soft and flimsy and now with a huge cut-out in the center these will most likely be even more to my distaste.

Re: Orbit - Black Hole V1 Edition
In the past, I have always gotten one of the orbit decks but not this time.
