I couldn't find a thread for this deck, unless I'm missing the obvious. But this is a Kickstarter that was funded towards the end of 2021:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/or ... cards-deck
The tuck box used UV-reactive ink, which is a neat effect that I always enjoy.
Metallic inks are used for the cards, including the card backs.
But as the name of the deck suggests, even the face cards hold some secrets, despite how they first look.
In reality the repeating patterns used for these designs hide the number/symbol for each card's value somewhere in the artwork, which turns the deck into a kind of puzzle, offering the challenge for you to find these on each card.
This is done with Aces as well.
Finally, here's the jokers.
The project was from Orion Playing Cards, which is a collaboration between Abundant Art Gallery, and Old Gravity (designer Bivas Bhattacharjee).
It was originally going to be produced by USPCC, but the printing was eventually done by LPCC.

Thanks again for your detailed reviews.
I wondered for a while if there was some special meaning that I could not read due to my poor English skills. Eventually it was made by LPCC, am I right?EndersGame wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 4:43 am It was originally going to be produced by USPCC, but the printing was eventually done by USPCC.

You're absolutely correct. Nothing wrong with your English skills - that's just pure stupidity on my part.zuccha wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 11:31 amI wondered for a while if there was some special meaning that I could not read due to my poor English skills. So yes, it was printed by LPCC in the end.
