La Mouche by Elettra Deganello
Does anyone know what this one will be called? I just messaged Elettra to see if there's a working title.
That white speech bubble is from Instagram and not from the deck itself.

Re: TBD by Elettra Deganello
I quite like a lot of what is offered here from an objective design pov but it's not landing on my personal sweet spot of purchases unfortunatelly.

Re: La Mouche by Elettra Deganello
I'm so fkn happy that we have an Elettra in the custom card community. What a talent. This is, up to this point, looking like the first must-have of 2024.

Seeing the white tuck with letterpressed details and now the update with the B&N tuck I suspect this is going to be like the Almanac II? The one with the book box.

Re: La Mouche by Elettra Deganello
Haven't seen any pictures of the custom carat case or enamel pins. I would've thought Elettra would be a bit more prepared in that regard. Signed up for the lovers tier, but I do ask myself if I really need those extras and whether I should just drop down to the two deck tier.

You can see the pins in the add-ons, not sure if they are elsewhere

Re: La Mouche by Elettra Deganello
I had a whale in my hands but let it go - figured as much as I would like the prototype it was not in the cards, as I have all the other decks in the whale lot.
If you ever desire to part with the prototype I would be more than interested though

I also have all the decks already but the prototype was too inviting so I bit the bullet.

I really like the illustration of the hand that's on one of the tucks. I wish someone would do a deck in that style. Or maybe there already is one?

Re: La Mouche by Elettra Deganello
I'm surprised there isn't a tier for just the two decks -- I had to add-on the Noir edition
I want to see the Carat Case first, and I don't really like the Lovers pin (the other pin though is great!)

And what is happening here with the back designs? Are some of the cards going to have different back designs within the same deck? Are they talking about the ad cards? The primary back design showcases a light-hearted pattern of daisies, chosen for their elegant simplicity. On some cards, daisies are replaced by other elements such as stars, flies, or alternative representations of the flower. ... Back design variations include the menu for the Banquet du Lanturlu

Re: La Mouche by Elettra Deganello
My understanding of what I read is that yes, the card backs will be different on different cards. It wasn't clear if EVERY card was unique, or just randomly a few cards. But i didn't get the sense that they were ad cards. So, while I wasn't going to back anyway, that definitely would be a deal breaker for anyone that actually wants to be able to play with the cards. It would be good to have more clarification on this!
Keep it Sizzlin'!

Back design variation thingy a bit unclear as to its extent and effect on playability - won’t put me out of the campaign either way, but on the edge of my seat to find out whats what

I like the numerical cards that have pics, the backs and the tuck but something is holding me back - probably my new 'Must haves only' rule

Re: La Mouche by Elettra Deganello
Yes, it seems that several cards have different back designs, including some of the number cards. For example, here's the 2 of Clubs which has an extract from Orphée aux enfers on the back and is matched on the face.
Personally I love this, it's so unique and whimsical. Of course it impedes the decks playability, but I mostly collect for the design.
As for the tiers, I was seriously tempted by The Whale, but settled on The Astronauts with an extra add-on of each of the decks, a pin, and the carat case.
