Is every edition going to have a reduced print run? Or just the legacy decks?

I will print 777 Dynastinae and 500 Prisms regardless. However the standard, prestige and legacy runs will be smaller than ever before.

1x Crimson
1x Cobalt
1x Prestige
1x Dynastinae
1x Prism

I’d say it’s a good sign the number of backers continues to rise, despite the overall funding dropping. Almost to 600 backers. More people who can potentially add more add-ons on on backer kit later on when they have more available funds.

Happy to be a Completionist here. I really haven't buy any cards last year. My last KS was Under the Moon by Jocu in summer 2022. My wallet approves this to be a bit more crazy. :)

Once again this feels (to me) like a success, but I'm the only one? 588 people pledging $103,555 is a lot (yes, it will go down with failed payments, I know)

Yeah. This is the second time this happens to me. Successor was also like this. A steep decline in funding. Makes the last week really hard to stomach. There were a LOT of people who pledged $350+ and then in the last three days dumped the pledge. Didn’t reduce it. Just flat out dumped it.

I tried harder than I’ve ever tried to make everyone happy. People begged to be able to add the prism. The campaign ended with 20 or so prisms still available. Some folks seemingly set alarms to remind them to drop the campaign pledge—at least the loss of about $2k in the final hour would indicate that.

Went from 1500 to 1200 to 1000 to 600 backers from campaign to campaign. At this rate of attrition there won’t be a TGW in a few years.

Well I'll be honest I usually know what time any campaign Im on the fence about keeping something ends so that doesn't really surprise me that much.

But I made my final decisions this morning when I got up for this one. (and its still top 3 card campaigns amounts Ive pledged)

I still say....10 day campaign next time dont give them time to think about it.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful. I appreciate everyone’s support and kind words. This was a success. I know many creators would wish to raise 100k on Kickstarter.

Regarding next big TGW campaigns. Parlour will only have three decks. The grave witness has many editions designed. But I think I’m going to give this a deep rethink.

Not giving them time to think with a much shorter campaign seems like a sort of pressure strategy. I'm not sure if a shorter campaign would be the solution but maybe that is what is best to make more money.

I looked at a lot of KS card campaigns recently 80%-90% of the funding happens in the first 3 days outside of new deck unlocks (which show up as 1-3 day peaks then flatline again). This holds almost every time with very few not following this pattern.

The old KS pattern was more U shaped, about 1/3 at the start, about 1/3 in the middle and 1/3 at the end. Card campaigns almost never "go out with a bang" positively.

If you have your own web site and backer kit there is no upside to a 3-4 week campaign you know is going to fund and only the downside that people will back out.

And lets be honest the entire KS model is pressure based, "KS exclusive" "limited to x copies editions" its all about creating FOMO or trying to increase the perceived and agreed upon market value for an item.

Omar, when you are ready for suggestions and feedback on possible changes we will be here.

If for no other reason than to distance yourself from De'Vo, don't shorten your campaigns too much.

Quoting your comment does not have to mean replying to your comment. It does not have to be 'All about me'

I was one of the people that dropped a Prism deck, but that was simply because I upgraded to a higher tier that had one included.

Congrats on the campaign.

Congratulations either way, Mr. TGW. I wish I could've pledged more.

(Now I just need to wait for my Dynastinæ deck so I can add it to my Tempest and Successor three deck display.)

Well I just turned it on. It says customers will receive a review notice in 14 days after order. So hopefully you will see it then!
And the 2 week delayed response...yes that was the case it emailed asking for a review overnight and its posted it to the site now.

For me it’s just the price point - would have happily bought a pile of these for less. Not saying the price is ill fitting, nor that a lower price would result in an end higher profit, but it does keep me out of many I would otherwise be in.
