Seems like I read the great update correctly and we don't get anything new from KWP indeed. Verum Videre x Invocation. But it's Thanksgiving so I'll be thankful for all those grands saved due to the card scene being mostly stagnant and boring af.
Totally agree, it is boring af at present except for visiting UC. Received my Inglewood and for the first time in well over a year - I am awaiting delivery on nothing!
I will have to satisfy myself with reading Jason McKinstry's Paper Empires that I only received recently

As a long time KWP subscriber, the end of most subs is a welcoming change as I no longer have to feel obligated to keep up. I can just pick and choose whatever of interest arises. However, foiling old design to look like tourist site decks and pushing the wood box version which has becoming a common item is not going to cut it for me anymore.
Best wishes to all who love it and plan to keep up with one campaign every 2 months.
I really like the Jokers, but I can't buy those separately unfortunately. Plus these being renders always makes me a bit hesitant.
I thought Jackson shifting from a subscription model that worked him like a horse, to a bimonthly KS campaign structure would help him boost his creativity and be intentional with each project. Instead, I see a project that was overhyped and lazy. I'm still hopeful for some great things in the future
That effort hasn't had time to reach its conclusion yet through.
It wouldn't be that long since he wrapped the November and December decks plus his existing commitments to the LOTR decks and whatever the January(?) licensed KS is.
I never had any of these decks and I like foil so it looks like Im the only one thats ok with this offering.
Its probably mid next year before we see "unleashed Jackson" decks.
I’m grabbing a silver version!
I like foiled decks and I actually really like the Invocation pips.
I have the Platinum Invocation deck and while it’s nice and shiny, it’s on Cartamundi stock and has that awful pronounced linen effect that I feel really ruins foiled decks.
I’d also be apprehensive if it was only foiled one side, as most recent experience for me with cold foiled / mylar flood foiling on the backs of cards has ended up with several decks getting a considerable bow in the over time (not just KWP).

Well maybe the KS could wait a bit then. This is a really underwhelming campaign to put it bluntly.

it seems to be serving its purpose. Which is to expose new people to KWP it's already almost made as much as the 2019 version of the same courts (invocation, $47k ) did after 7 hours. And more than their last 3 non LOTR campaigns (the pi decks, very much unexciting campaigns to be sure) COMBINED.
This isn't a project for someone who has everything they've ever made, its for people like me who weren't around 4 years ago to pick up these decks, or even those who hadn't heard of them 12 hours ago.
I love my OG Verum Videre and the OG limited edition might be the deck that is never going to leave my home, even if I would completely quit cards but I wholeheartedly echo this statement:

Eye of Providence on a t-shirt. No, thanks.
It does say it'll be black foiling on black stock, though I'm curious to see how legible that will be. I'm currently in for the silver, and am on the fence for the gold. I might possibly add the black if they show pics of the cards.
stock photos to actual in-hand product always differ when it comes “ black stained black walnut“
i wish we see more actual photos than stock rendered for a sale
easy pass for $72
i remember the day these would sell out instantaneously bc JR would only produce x/50

Just to clarify we never said Black Stock. we said black on black foiling...

Got it, thanks for the clarification.....what does that mean? Black ink on top of black foil?

Why is it only available as an add-on? The way it was phrased didn't indicated that whatsoever.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can change tiers mid-campaign. Add-on would be the only option.

You definitely can. I've seen campaigns do that recently. The AGNI campaign just did for example.
Well lets get the word right, you cant CHANGE a tier.
but you can add one and thats what Agni did. (though I have issues with how they decided to do it and how much they insist that they cant deviate from what they decided to do, i.e. having to buy both original decks to get the new gilded one).
