Big day for Wyrmwood and TGW; it easily got overshadowed.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I love this approach Lotrek is taking. It shows he is trying to shift his communication in a direction I fully support, even if it ends up not being weekly. Lotrek seems to recognize the estimates are not working in his favor when the goalposts are constantly shifting, so providing concrete updates on the status of things is more accurate and keeps pitchforks at bay. I got a nice dopamine hit reading the news this morning when I woke up. The informal nature of the messages also might help take some pressure off Lotrek as he wouldn't have to write up an extremely elaborate update post each time and clutter his Patreon feed.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
also he saw Omars review for Golden rule.coming in a separate post on Monday. There is a lot to announce - discuss about the deck we've all been waiting for: CODEX! Plus, we have news regarding Golden Rule Patrons Edition.
Omar is always sincere and the little negative comment he did at the end, gave me an idea for which I thank him!

Just got an email that my Redemption VI decks are being shipped tomorrow through Wounded Corner. I'm sure others in the US/CA will get an email shortly, if not already.

I picked up a few more Icons Celestial decks. I thought Redemptions III was an awesome deal at 30 Euros each. This might not have been as great a deal, but I just couldn't resist...I am weak.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I got my Redemption Stories VI deck this past Saturday. It was almost flawless except the 10 of Clubs that had black marking on one side on both sides of the card. I don't know how much the final finished version difference will be.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I see where Lotrek wanted to improve on the Patrons deck and I'm glad he allowed his patrons to vote on what to do. There's definitely room to improve on the hot foil registration on the backs and he has shown he is more than capable of achieving it. The cards do have a slight curvature, but I was able to fix them by bending in the opposite direction. I can probably press them with some books to further help, but overall that isn't a big deal to me. The cards handle great and are slippery. I'm rather impressed, especially if Lotrek is adjusting his varnish behind the scenes. Could be placebo but these cards felt really nice. There is a Royal Patrons deck that is in the works for Year 2. I wonder if that will have two foils in the front. I would love to see some foiling (gold(?)) on the courts.
The art is beautiful and I've been waiting for this deck since receiving the first test print. The art on the courts is lovely and the tuck, incredible.

Absolutely LOVE these. The K&Q and Jokers are a huge hit with me.
This is what I've been waiting for. Simple and elegant.
Thanks HSBC for the stunning pics.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I received my decks last week. I have opened one of the decks. The design is warming up more and more to me as I handle it and the light flashes off of the back foil. I really like the court artwork as well. I will wait and see how the final version looks, but I really like this version.

Sanctissimus Players Edition, x/1080
Sanctissimus Players Test Print, x/500
Sanctissimus Players Test Print, x/500
Prior to the Official edition we did a test print to check colors and use as a base for modifications and tweaks. This is a 500 deck print run in a two color tuck case, all numbered and will be available to Patrons only for 1 week. If there are any decks left after 7 days, they will become available to the public.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
First Lotrek in a looong time that's a pass for me. Frankly, an easy pass, and I suspect Codex is going to be the same. Lack of a certain je ne sais quoi? Lack of shine maybe? I hope I'm not that crow-like.

My copy arrived with some heavy bending, just wondering if it’s just an unfortunate occurrence or if it’s a common problem.Bradius wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 1:56 pm I received my decks last week. Yep. That's one of the reasons why it's a Redemption and not part of the official year 1 reward.jasonx73it wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 5:35 pmMy copy arrived with some heavy bending, just wondering if it’s just an unfortunate occurrence or if it’s a common problem.Bradius wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 1:56 pm I received my decks last week. Re: OATH'S PATREON -details
I just noticed this comment today hiding underneath the picture
Jokes aside, it would be incredible being in a Lotrek deck.
Yes, the bend to the cards, as well as poor foil registration on the backs were the two reasons Lotrek put this deck up for a vote. Should he reprint or should he just send the rewards? 92% voted for a reprint, making this one a test print #2, packaged as Redemption VI.jasonx73it wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 5:35 pm My copy arrived with some heavy bending, just wondering if it’s just an unfortunate occurrence or if it’s a common problem.
