as i just posted in the cthulu thread, i love the inner and outer tuck design from kingstar. i am happy to see it used here and it is used to great effect here giving the girls one style on the inside with a more elegant masquerade style on the outer tuck.

V1 is divided into two versions: standard and Silver gilded.
Printed by WJPC, Standard edition limited to 1200 pairs,Some of them have big boxes.Silver gilded Limited to 200 pairs.
There are five versions of V2: white,black and white gilded black gilded.These are limited versions of China.There is also a white international version limited to 500.
V1 and V2 are both painted by our ace painter: Lemon.Designed by him.V3 was designed by Miss JOJO and him.

kingstar and charmie dreams are the only 2 i consistently go for the box sets. this set looks great as well. however, i actually prefer the orignal posted tuck pictures without the foils. this crystal cell kind of foil seems to mask the wonderful detail of the art. in the picture right above, it appears the outter tuck for the white tuck is a little too big. looks like a few mm tall and the inner tuck is sunk down in there.

white tuck is a sample,our photographer broke it.The officially released tuck will not be like this.

orignal posted tuck is the standard version. I think crystal cell kind of foil it didn't affect art.Photos can only show a specific angle.In fact, no details are missing.

I would say the black skintones on the lighter cards are the ones that look odd to me.

I quite like the contrast. Artwise it's not realistic enough to care for natural skin tones so the black works fine for me.

I would say the black skintones on the lighter cards are the ones that look odd to me.

The black here is not skintones.Designers want to express the concepts of shadow and soul.

picked up the box set, i would recommend the mountains and seas and monkey king box sets. both are great.

edit- i knew from the pics above i wanted the set. i pledged without looking through the campaign. then i took a look. generally, i do not do box sets. for me, locking decks, or special editions behind having to buy a set or having to buy collectors boxes is a practice i usually do not support. i make an exception for kingstar because their box sets are normally very nice looking and very well priced. so i turn the other cheek. however, this business with the 17 holo collectors cards and the white ultra holo edition is pushing it.

if you get the box set or half brick you get 4 or 8 of the cards, randomly selected. to get all 17 you have to get the exclusive all in collection. to get the white ultra holo edition you have to also buy one of the top tiers. it is not available as an add on. kingstar is new here on the forums and generally new to KS. to a number of folks in the collecting community, this kind of deck gating does not set well. add to that the random mystery box style of getting the holo cards and, for me, you're on thin ice. myself, and others, have been quite vocal with other creators on tactics such as these. i do not support them or their campaigns out of principle. while my collection is not the biggest at just over 500 unique decks, it is big enough to pass campaigns like this.

please reconsider gating decks into higher tiers in the future. also, i would encourage that if you would like to make add on items like the collectors cards, have them be add ons for the whole set and/or include the whole set into the tiers that get them.

Missed out on the 5 deck acrylic, time was not on my side. If anyone is looking to drop it please let me know, I don’t mind trading a King Arthur box set too, the box is damaged but the display and decks are in perfect condition. Thanks!

another winner from kingstar in my opinion. i went with the box set. this is a case though where i think i like the standard version better than the fancy version. the ''crystal foil'' they used is a bit too busy and masks much of the detail imo. still, great looking decks with great tuck designs.
