Nearest I can tell its designed to be flattened when the deck is in, and accordions to fill the box when cards removed.

That would be indeed something sweet. I doubt it would last long with use though and as a display piece unused would lose the effect. I guess best way would be doing it like the Gatekeeper ed. from House of the Rising Spades did.

This would be in similar fashion to the Auspicious Beasts series from ARK (Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise, and White Tiger (to be released)).

Thank you guys for all the comments. We understand that y'all might compare this deck to the Auspicious Beasts series. We Absolutely love that deck design too! Though, there are a few things that we want to clarify:
1. This tuck features a 5-layer accordion that is actually more like a spring than an accordion so that it can be more elastic. Even when it is put in the tuck with the full deck for awhile;
2. The die cutting for the accordion is very dinstinctive, that we would love to utilize it to visualize the explosion in front of Oppenheimer more;
3. The paper we use for the accordion and the tuck itself is extra tough, which makes everything much more long-lasting.

I hope that removes all your confusions!

I like what I see but how many different versions of the deck are there (I would guess 3, please dont make people buy a extra deck just to complete tuck art)

There are three editions in total for the Oppenheimer series.
1. Nucleus Edition (special edition)
2. Radiance Edition (normal edition)
3. Fission Edition (cardistry edition)
Each edition features different characteristics (including the design of the tuck & deck, stock & finish, etc.)and we hope they are gonna fit different people's preferences :)

Congratulations on already getting funded.

Without giving away too much (unless you want to) what are the expected themes for the other 12 decks and about how often do you intend to release them?

Since you're printing this deck yourself, have you tried attempting a mass print to see how your printers coup and any error points that can come your way?

Thank you for asking. We planned 6 about ourselves, including famous IPs like some Giant monsters fighting each other and some cartoons we like so much. ( can't talk too much about it). Also, we will collaborate with some designers who are new to the industry or already created some projects before. There are some Japanese designs, Dark designs, magician decks.......

We planned to release it with a year and maybe 1-2 months more.

Yes, we have. This isn't the first time we have done mass print. We did some commercials/ promoting decks before.
But this is the first time we do with our own stocks & finishes, luckily we’re really satisfied with the outcome!

I was interested to see they just announced the 'Mystery Gift' that would become available at 400% funding, and it is a glowing tuck box (quite impressive) that is available as an add on for $58. Now, it's perfectly fine to make a stretch goal a super unique version of the deck but it isn't a gift if you have to buy it. The gift of being able to spend your money on something is called a purchase. A mystery purchase, sure, but still not a gift. I feel something got lost in translation.

It is included in all the pledges (all stretch goals) so it appears it is a gift for all

I hopped in for a base deck - will stay in unless a correction changes my assumption

Appears freebie is the tuck, 58 bucks is for the tuck with a deck in it.

You may be right, the answers to comments about this in the KS updates section is quite convoluted, but it seems unlikely that a deck for $39 is $58 with the glowing tuck, but they're willing to give that $20 tuck to everyone for free. Wouldn't that make it pointless to buy the $58 version? Just buy a regular deck and put it in your free tuck.

I don't know, seems very dubious to me.

Not sure it all seems wise, nor that they will manage putting those boxes together and getting them to us, but it does seem that it is in low pledgers favor

Everyone gets one display tuck should not really effect what it costs to buy a deck in that tuck.

For me I really don’t want the deck in the tuck, just the tuck for display, so it worked out pretty well, hopefully ;)

Hey guys! This is Room One. Seems like there's much confusion about the "Mystery Gift" that we announced for the 400% funding. We have actually planned to make the Glowing Nucleus as one of our biggest products throughout the campaign and so we wanted to surprise y'all when we have reached an outstanding funding goal. And thanks to you amazing backers we actually did! However, we confusingly used the word "Gift" which made many of you thought that once we have reached 400% funding, everyone would receive a special gift for free.

We want to stress out that the Glowing Nucleus is not a free upgrade to the normal Nucleus Edition, it is another edition that only appears as an addon. On the other hand, we would love to release one extra gift - A KEY CHAIN, that is entirely FREE for ALL of you that backed anything from our campaign! The design will be released afterwards. Thank you guys for understanding!

Yep, it all turned out to be as pepega as I had assumed. I wonder if people will still fail to realise it isn't free and complain vigorously after the campaign is over. My popcorn is at the ready.

I have the second one actually, the "parade of demons" deck from Bloom (I think it is). Theyre fine...no real complaints.
