Marianne Larsen wrote:CIRCUS SIDESHOW is designed to mark and celebrate the first 5 years of Isolated Thunderstorm with a limited print run of only 1826 decks, which is the total number of days in 5 years.

The tuck is manufactured with a matte textured stock, for an authentic vintage look and feel. The cards have great handling and the deck is packed with fun and originality in its one-way design.

Releasing to subscribers and followers of Isolated Thunderstorm very soon.

I know this is a very unpopular opinion here, but I would rather pay the creator than pay a higher price to someone reselling on the aftermarket. So I am not offended at all that they would raise the price of a deck they have low inventory on.
But the Circus Deck was not priced to justify being made by NPCC and the design of the back which I don't really like, and I couldn't afford it.
I have high hopes for this one. I hope I can get it at a price I can justify.

I don't miss it, a year ago I had to return my Black Mosquito and another of a 3 deck order as they had faults. Expensive return as stupid me did not tick the Returned Goods box so it was only fair that I agreed to pay the customs charged on pick up - after paying postage and customs, stupid me pretty much returned one expensive deck for no compensation. I am content with my Bicycle Circus Nostalgic. Don't forget that little box people

Can’t remember where I got mine - probably a sale on their site that was 40% or more off insanity, which I believe left the price in the zone of “ludicrous” to “mildly inappropriate” and I was likely feeling particularly randy that day and decided that was a bargain…

appears to be another winner! the other circus decks were incredible. i hope this thread gets an update when these are available since they wont be a KS project it appears. i am not great at checking emails or purchasing decks from other sources other than KS.

Aw heck! I didn’t notice it - since I assume EVERY Isolated Thunderstorm decks are made with NPCC. Yeah, I agree the charge price is too much, but hey, this is Isolated Thunderstorm: $30+ deck is the usual for them

The decks on their Kickstarter campaigns are significantly less than that. The great majority on their website are less than that also.

Like previous comments, I'm not sure I can afford this price for an MPC product.
But I like the design (especially the back) better than the previous ones.

I think there's this presumption that MPC is a weak product - and I just don't think that's necessarily true. Their quality runs the gamut - so while they have some cheaply made stuff (and it shows), they can also produce stuff that in my opinion is on par with anyone save USPCC and Cartamundi in terms of the feel of their stock.

I also find, on calmer reflection, that I prefer the handling of the MPC decks to the NPCC decks. I would have bought the old Circus deck if it had cost $33.

I prefer the design of the new deck over it, and I prefer the handling, so why would I choose not to buy it?
(Yes, I am desperately trying to think of a reason to buy it)

They are using the MPC Beta finish, which means the handling will be good. Pity nothing said about the card stock.

I love the backs, but the courts aren't grabbing me. Definitely not at $33, not even at $20 based on the 2 courts shown.

Wish they will show more, but hey, I get to save money.

just looked at the link finally and the deck looks amazing to me! shame about the price. as a bonus, they put $46 and lined it out before the $33 to make it seem like youre getting a great deal. 30% off too high still equals too high in this case.

Everytime I visit their webshop I can't but chuckle at the prices. Mediocre artwork decks sold at Da Vinci prices.

I see there is one Black Mosquito Deck of the Year on their website unsealed for $55 US - maybe it is my $69 returned deck from a year ago, now with a new 2s ;)
What was I thinking - that was over $100Au before shipping & fees

I remember that the Additional information used to only say BETA Finish, but now I see that it says M31 Linen stock.
I wish it had been M32 since they are making over 1000 decks...
