Nefarious Tales by Thirdway Industries

It looks like foil, but it's ink - more durable and should not affect handling. Plus it allows me to pick a very specific hue 😄

The first deck made with this technique, Nefarious Tales, is included into 2023 TWI Patreon Q2 (not available anymore)

Nice....If you own Divine Art or Motley Pack - heritage edition or Bharata Major arcana Tarot, it used the same gilding method as shown above.

Remember Divine Art came in 2016 ;) ..been there, done that

I am curious to see the images of Divine Art/Motley pack now!

The "Lacquered Edge Print" should be an idea of Doliberg, my new italian supplier for gilding.
He did not explained in details, apart that there are four handmade stages for reach that result.
However, I am expecting it could be at least a slight different from what it was used on your decks.

Anyways, I made one of my ugly videos without audio to show the deck > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAai_Cf7Aho

There is some guy who's done a review of Divine Art! A fantastic deck - and the gilding on it is great. If Nefarious Tales is anything like that, can't wait!

I had different colors available but as this method used ink and not foil, so it wasn't that shiny as foil gilding, I went with gold. It is applied by hand and doesn't affect the handling in comparison to the foil one. Overall, I was happy when I got the deck in my hand.

There are a couple of videos by reviewers on YouTube of all 3 decks.
