I have one thats a 390nm, but I don’t think yours or mine will work well with these…. At least not optimally…

“premium 365nm UV flashlight, the GhostCatcher is extremely powerful, and reveals ALL Invisible inks”

It is my understanding the inks used (at least some) are specific to 365nm and work especially poorly with 390

It does seem that 365 is the bees knees in UVs

I had a lot of bad luck on Amazon finding a real 365 mm. You can tell it versus a 395 because it will be much brighter with a 365 but depends on the ink as well.

Even that Deal Playing Cards by Darkside, you have to use 365nm light - so yeah, 365nm is a superior one

Wow   I had some doubts that these would actually look as good as they did in the campaign, but these look amazing with the UV flashlight he sold -- it is seriously BRIGHT :ugthink:

Thanks for those great photos hsbc. It really shows off the 3D effect of the different UV colors. It looks even more impressive in person. I was not expecting that effect at all, so it really stunned me when I shined the black light on it. The UV ink is a bit gimmicky, but man it is still impressive.

Great photos! This one played off the gimmick of UV ink so well. Just a great effect. And props for the tucks as well - which are beautifully printed.

Are those UV effects on every base card for all versions of the deck? I only bought one with the black tuck box.

The 3D effect only shows up when there are multiple UV inks used. I am guessing that there are two different UV wavelengths used and that it is these different wavelengths that is creating the 3D effect.

The flashlight included is ok. But if you want so see something dramatic, get a powerful 365nm filtered UV flashlight like the Darkbeam B40 365NM Pro Max. The cards under this light are unbelievable!! Keep the room light on.

I can attest to that flashlight only because I witnessed it firsthand through Paul. Keep it away from eyes and skin as you can actually feel it slightly burning.

Arrived today. They look beautiful, the tuck stock is such a nice texture. I need to get a flashlight to give them a proper spin. Another brilliant and unique project.

Wow, Gio’s “GhostCatcher” is really powerful - so powerful that UV elements just lits up even more than before (including, the now very smudged Black Market decks)

I am hoping Fantasma cards last long through the test of time

I thought it was only my Black Market that turn out like this. Does this mean that UV inks will dissipate/bleed over time?

They shouldn't but I can't confirm as I haven't played with mine. The overspray is a result of the printing process if that is what you are referring to.

It’s not the overspray. Some UV details, like the hidden hearts, have now turned into a blurry mess

I just pulled out one of my opened fantasma decks, and it looks the same as when I opened it. The blue ink is a bit fuzzy, but I think that was by design. The red and green ink is sharp as ever. Everything still looks great to me.

Laito and I were talking about the UV ink on the Black Market deck. If you have one, maybe try and see whether you got the same result as us.

Fantasma Revenant “main” editions, Ectoplasm & Vision will be “revealed” -I mean, not “invisible” like the original Fantasma-, printed with Neon ink. The cards will be visible in normal light conditions but also fluorescent under blacklight.

Boschiero is making the neon paper that will be used on Ectoplasm. The paper will be unique, made specifically for this project! The result seems awesome:
Screenshot_20240121_091550_Gmail.jpg
Vision will be printed with 2 combined foils, neon and transparent holographic. We need a video to see the craziness achieved, but here is a glimpse:

There will be other “experimental features” that will involve neon inks and foils - and some other secrets to reveal. Stay tuned! :-)
