A quick thought about tarot: His amazing Keymaster tarot only really has custom illustrations for the major arcana; the "number" cards are... just number cards. At the time, I didn't appreciate the significance, but I've since learned that a *fully* illustrated tarot deck -- including illustrations for each of the number and court cards, plus the major arcana -- is the holy grail of customized tarot decks.

I have a few by designers known to UCers, like RJ Tomlinson's Oz and Titanic Tarot decks, and that has set the bar rather high for me. I would love, love, love a truly, fully illustrated Tarot deck by Lorenzo. But, wow, that's a lot of work. Keymaster teased what's possible; now I lust after the full meal deal.

Keep dreaming rousselle. I seem to recall Lorenzo lamenting when he was finishing Keymaster about how much time it took and that it was unlikely he would do one again. Also, he did have to add knight cards and each court and number card did need considerable rework and customization, but I get your aspiration for fully custom.

He is working on a standard deck with Tarot-like aspects to the courts as a follow up variant of Odd Fellows. I think a fully custom Tarot might be a long shot from Lorenzo given how much effort and time he spends on each card. That said, Lorenzo's art already has a strong pull to Tarot design. I too would love to see a fully custom tarot, but I think it unlikely.

Keymaster Tarot is based off both Tarot Marseilles and Raider Waite, which is heavy on the Marseilles since the Strenght and Justice are switched, with the numbers of Minor Arcana are just suits. But hey, the sigils (aka the golden details) are a callback to the vintage suits. Most importantly, the Keymaster is the extensions of the titular House of the Rising Spades - extension includes the new Knights and the Major Arcanas. Such a grand work it is! And I like to see this new addition of the Odd Fellows combining Zodiacs and Tarot.

Speaking of Zodiac: I also cant wait for the teased continuation of Monolith: the Zodiac Primus. Cant wait to see how Gio intrepets the Zodiacs in the courts. Hmmm, perhaps Gio is a good candidate for custom tarot deck - like FULL custom tarot deck - his works on Memoria (which is Tarot inspired) is exceptional! It can be in the style of the Betrayers deck, or the Monolith/Apocalise/Apoteosi style

Jocu has indicated they'll be doing a Tarot deck next year too, based on Green Man. Also fully custom. Though they are still in the planning stage and nothing is set in stone yet.

I'm kinda over-saturated at the Odd Fellows front but the overhaul of this deck is so significant, that I can't but love it. Not that the other Odd Fellows were bad in any shape or form.

Same as Harvonsgard. I was like "not another Odd Fellows deck" but upon the development of the art work, reimagining the odd in the odd fellows, and some more other details made me fall in love with the deck.

that deck ticks pretty much every box for me. non standard courts(and even to a degree nonstandard pips), good use of foil, better use of color. consistency in design.

Madame Laveau has arrived. The color of the court cards and the foil accents are much nicer than the picture shows. I bought 2 decks and now I want another one.
