Re: Caesar Playing Cards by Riffle Shuffle [KS June 22]
There is absolutely, no possible way that there will be ANY more colorways or ANY gilded versions released during the campaign. Not in a million years.
But seriously, I might actually sit this one out. Starting to get bored with these campaigns. Plus, Randy's "Rome" was better IMO.

What would Riffle Shuffle be without shuffling your riffles. I'll easily pass on these.

I mean Rome without a gold and red colourway is ludicrous. As with any Riffle Shuffle campaign, I'll sit this one out as well... and the next one...
... and the one coming after that...

And with this, Riffle Shuffle is back to bring MORE madness XD
Step 1: Release initial editions of the deck
Step 2: Release the third variant
Step 3: Gilded the f-ed out of the decks
Step 4: Spam your KS message inbox with gilded decks announcement
Step 5: Wait it out and celebrates for funding
Step 6: Downtime for decks productions and fullfilment
Step 7: Release new project and repeat these steps

Perhaps the red edition MIGHT be the third variantHarvonsgard wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 8:14 pm I mean Rome without a gold and red colourway is ludicrous.
They REALLY need to know - this BS is starting to get old XD they no need to say "surprises", because we always know what to expect - their KS campaigns works like clockwork

Re: Caesar Playing Cards by Riffle Shuffle [KS June 22]
I don’t think they can see the err of their ways over the giant pile of cash the campaigns generate.
My favorite bit - “When you purchase at least one set of The Caesar Playing Cards, this gives you limited hellish access to the Green and Blue GILDED EDITIONS.”
It appears they forgot to take “hellish” out of the 666 campaign boilerplate they are using to take this from 2 decks to the eventual 9 or so - clockwork indeed
Cards aren’t awful, aces pretty nice - not enticed by the courts though

But that's just it- they're making so much money with successful campaigns that I doubt they think they're doing anything wrong. They probably think like 50 Cent: " if they hate then let them hate and watch the money pile up."

Easier said than done - should they use the other colors it will cause Riffle and NOC to form a singularity and we will all be killed.

Re: Caesar Playing Cards by Riffle Shuffle [KS June 22]
My biggest turn-off is usually the bright basic colours which don't match the artwork, which is especially egregious in this campaign. Thankfully the only decent colourway (usually the or one of the special versions) can be had cheaply from aftermarket without bothering with any of the rest of it. Think the gold version of Babylon, the only good one and quite a nice deck. Also it must be said that the appeal of decks based on unexpected subjects like ancient Sumerians with professionally executed/produced artwork etc can't be ignored. This however strikes me as uninspired.

Inside out edition of 150 - does this mean there will be a limited edition for all the colors to come? This could set a record…

A “milking” solution to complaints of “why keep making interior artworks of the tuckbox yet the unflap tuck goes to the big hitters?”

Re: Caesar Playing Cards by Riffle Shuffle [KS June 22]
I think their Collector's Brick tier is perfect. $150 for a ton of goodies. I'm passing on this campaign, but that tier looks great for those with the funds and desire for it.

I'm going to wait until these are sold on their website. I never had any trouble getting any Riffle Shuffle decks.

You may want to a little longer. SoCal now has most of their previous KS decks at least 10% off right now. https://socalplayingcards.com/collectio ... le-shuffle
