Can’t imagine that it TOOK 7 years for this to happen! Probably they got a hiccup in licensing, hence why the deck happened now after four seasons had been aired! And this deck should marked T11’s first Netflix collab

And yes~ Would love to know WHO is behind the design of the deck and HOW the artworks gotta look like~

Judging from previous teaser, think the deck will be based on the very first Season

Oh! I was wrong! It’s the entire TV series, Season 1 to Season 4 is going to be there. AAAAAAH I AM SOOO FREAKING EXCITED!!!

Excuse my enthusiasm for this deck despite this being made by Theory 11 (we all know their rep: very good with boxes, yet the cards would disappoint) - but you can tell how LONG i have waited for this happen haha

The stigma with theory11 of their cards disappointing is quite old, considering the majority of their latest decks have actually turned that around quite significantly (with multi-color backs) while still appealing to the average card user. They don't make decks for hardcore collectors, and yet the hardcore collectors which make up like 0.001% of the industry think that they still should. Their decks are in Walmart, Target, Barnes and Noble, Walgreens, Amazon, etc. They need to be appealing and normal enough for the average person that buys cards for card games with their friends and family, and they also need to maximize the profit margin to keep their price point SUPER affordable. It's just basic business.

Theory11 also does a great job with fan service with these kinds of decks with all the easter eggs they include for fans, they genuinely do pay attention to the IPs they work with and they use all original assets. Designing a deck isn't easy from scratch, despite what most hardcore forum complainers tend to think. I'm sure this deck is going to absolutely crush with their target audience, and looks like another hit for their catalog.

yet ''hardcore collectors'' can still point out what makes a deck appealing to them as collectors. i would argue that collectors make up 100% of the playing card collecting hobby or industry, if you will. so when collectors are making statements about the collecting hobby they are completely on point. so, no, t11 doesnt make decks solely for the collecting hobby, collectors can certainly post what would make them better for collectors.

11th post for the WIN HSBC! Gotta say, this deck from everything they've teased looks like an instant yes from me! Can't wait to see what they did with the cards! No doubt they waited at the right time to release this deck after 4 epic seasons...plenty of characters to illustrate throughout! Hellfire Club all the way, haha.

Since it's a Netflix collab, I'm sure the Duffer Bros. had some input into the creative on this one, right?

When Stranger Things first came out it was kind of surprise success. Netflix didn't have a licensing department setup and it was about six months before they had anything in place to start doing deals. Good times.

Even T11 knows they are better off creating hype by showing the tuck instead of the cards xD

Jokes aside, I'm looking forward to seeing how these are, and even more inclined to purchase if they did a foiled back.

I agree! The royal clothing doesn't match the vibe at all. Some of the characters are indistinguishable from the Harry Potter cards because of this odd mash-up. The Tuck is incredible though (per usual)

There are those small details on each courts that can easily tell who is who!

Maybe there are some hidden easter eggs in the patterns of their royal clothing. I don't mind it, actually. I guess it would look a little boring if they were just wearing their normal clothes.
