"We received confirmation from USPCC today that all of the artwork for all 4 decks has been approved. We will post the prints as soon as we get them."
And I also found their site.. http://www.homerungames.com/Site/Home_Run_Games.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Great news. All of the tuck boxes are printed. The sheets for the decks will start next week. Please send me a kickstarter message if your address has changed since the campaign ended January 1st.
We are looking forward to posting our next project later in the spring.
Hmm, yeah I just checked there as well. I see some of these on eBay for insane prices, but wanted to see if any other large resellers were selling them at more normal prices. Thanks!

I love the arcade console silhouette of the 8-bit plastic sleeve.
No I didn't pick up any. Now I kinda wish I did. It would have been a unique addition to the collection. I have been trying to avoid KS, I did back the new UUSI deck.

Many people have mentioned glue problems with the gold sleeve. The glue is actually very easy to roll off by pushing at the edge with your thumb. Once the glue was off I ran a piece of sandpaper over the glue area to expose a little of the paper under the foil and used gorilla glue to put it together. It holds very well.

Kudos to Home Run Games for coming through when the free set of stretch goal dice were not in my package. They sent me the whole box of dice in a separate mailing.
I got my first BackerKit email from them June 11th. I filled it in and got hopeful.
Then, a couple of weeks later, I get a virtually identical email, requesting (again) that I go to BackerKit to verify my order.
Now, however, it has extra charges and wants me to provide a credit card for a bunch of extra money.
I write back and refer to the project page and tell them I'm refusing to pay and ask whey they're suddendly doing a "bait and switch". Some back and forth and eventually they agree to honor the original price.
Now, today, I get yet another email requesting that I "verify my order" on BackerKit.
More emails. They refuse to answer questions about why my order hasn't shipped, why I keep being asked to verify my order, and after several emails, claim that they hope my order might ship in August.
Anyone else having to deal with this with them?
I've given them until tomorrow to provide a satisfactory explanation of what, exactly, is going on, or I'm getting in touch with Amazon Payments, opening a formal complaint ticket and requesting a full refund. I'll post what I learn, but I'm interested in hearing whether others are being jerked around as well.
I've been getting the same emails. When I click to go back to backerkit, it says I am already verified. I believe the emails keep coming because their deadline for anyone to make changes in the backerkit is July 10th (today).
Not sure on the price or whatever...everything was fine for me and I didn't add anything on that wasn't already in my kickstarter pledge amount
I've been having a very frustrating sequence of emails.
It boils down to "we'll be shipping in August. Maybe. We hope. We're not sure."
The reason given? "That's how KickStarter works".
While I accept that the deliver date on the KS project is shown as August, I've pointed out to them that (a) people have received their decks and have posted images and (b) I'm seeing the decks in online stores.
So it sounds like maybe they're pursuing retail opportunities with their stock ahead of fulfilling KS pledges.
Which I would say actually isn't how KickStarter is supposed to work.
*Edit* A followup email: "The traditional decks are not finished yet. The original decks are."
Not sure of which are "traditional" and which are "original" (poor choice of terms but whatever) but it sounds as if you ordered one type you're getting it, but if you ordered both, you're not.
elcyciB and Strag: what deck types were in your orders? My order includes Blue, Red, and 2600.
The decks I have received were from the first one. I don't think anyone expects to receive their Red & Blue Traditionals, and the 2600 decks, from the second kickstarter yet. I don't expect to get mine until a few months after the funded date, especially since I am international, so August sounds fine. It takes time to manufacture everything and package it all for the pledges.
