Hmm, their payment processing isn't setup right now for some reason.

May I ask what you mean? When I try and purchase a product it allows me to pay by either CC or paypal. If something isn't working for you I can shoot Jack a message to let him know.

It's working now. When I tried last night hitting the Paypal button gave you a message that it wasn't set up yet and it wouldn't let you manually enter a card number.
For those who were on the fence about patreon Jack just posted something that might interest you. He would like to make a special patreon only variant of his next campaign but doesn’t have the amount of members to make that possible at the moment. That being said, if more members join we can get an awesome patreon only variant for the next campaign.
If you join at the base tier you will get;
Thank you digital phone wallpaper art
Behind-the-scenes stories, peeks at artwork and development progress
Help on guiding how projects develop
First opportunities to stock
First opportunities to tier upgrades and changes if and when any open
[POTENTIAL access to Patreon only deck variant]
I hope some of you will consider coming to support an amazing design, a wonderful person and a great member of our community and in the process, help everyone work towards a special patreon only version of the next campaign.
The patreon deck variant is hinging on getting 120 patrons (currently around 50) so he knows the funding is there - I have intent to give him a funding push if he comes up short…

I am not sure what you are saying. I would be GLAD to join Jack's Patreon, but he limited it to like 50 Patrons, so he has effectively limited the number of Patrons he will have. If he opened it up to 120 slots, I feel confident he would fill them out, no problem. I wish he would.
Sorry, but I am just not interested in the $2 tier. Not for me.

Just to help clarify. The fellow venturers tier ($20) is limited to 20 people. The patreon ($3) tier is unlimited and open.
Thanks for the clarification Fenrir. I just saw that there were 49 Patrons and assumed they were all in the Fellow Venturer Tier.
The problem is still that I don't think there will be many interested in just the $3/month Patreon Tier. If he opened more Fellow Venturer Tiers, I am sure he would find people willing to join that tier.

No problem Bradius. I don't disagree with you at all but from my understanding that is a self imposed limitation due to his capacity. Since Jack's work isn't only tied into the playing card world he isn't only focused on that compared to Lotrek or Lorenzo let's say. As we all know there are higher expectation for a tier of that cost including physical rewards. I do believe he has plans to open up more slots in the future as he navigates Patreon and assesses how this goes for him and the required time.
That being said, I think there is still good value at $3 a month if you are a fan of his work but understand that you would rather be in one of the higher tiers. I personally love the idea that even at $3 a month I would have access to and could help shape the variant for the Patreon exclusive version for the next campaign but that's just me. Everything else is a bonus on top and I can tell you that Jack has posted more in the last month than many creators have in the last year.
Just like kickstarter, patreon has morphed from a "lets support an artist for the sake of supporting them" to a glorified exclusives subscription service where "I darn well better be getting a bang for my buck." I support several artists at a $1/month level with my only reward being that they continue to create things I enjoy. I don't think that model (i.e. 1000s of people giving $1 each) ever took off, however.

I think this is a great take and you are absolutely right. It used to be just support for those artists whose work you wanted to see continue to grow with a bonus being of potential physical rewards to now being an expectation of much more. Glad to hear you are helping to support all of these creative people who could use our support.
right or wrong, i do see patreon as ''glorified exclusives subscription service''. i dont necessarily need the most bang for my buck out of the couple i support but i wouldnt do them if there were no rewards most likely.

Perfectly put and exactly the reason why I didn't join Jack's Patreon. I'm a "I get what I want from you or I'll refrain to support you"-guy.
I would lie if I didn't chuckle quite well about the situation.
