TGW Presents The Grave Witness by Russell Gray

Unread post by TheGentlemanWake »

This is a VERY VERY early peek at some work in progress images of the amazing artwork Russ Gray is working on for The Grave Witness.... a murder mystery in a tuck case. Continuing the tradition of high quality, beautifully designed cards from The Gentleman Wake.

The horticulturist with the hedge clippers behind the rhododendron.

Great artstyle. I like what I see so far. There're barely designs where I wouldn't change a thing - this draft is one of those though.

Well, another intriguing deck from TGW. This year is looking like a TGW year. You have a lot of great looking projects coming up and this is another one. Excited to get the finished works of all of these.

Good question. Are they going to be foiled? At current prices, metallic inks may now be the way to go to get a sub-$15 deck with some bling.

copper foil would be much better, imo. metallic inks are barely bling light and kind of disappointing like kissing your sister. kind of shiny but not really the real thing. TGW has stated on numerous occasion that he is building a luxury brand. judging by previous pricing and pricing on other projects yet to come, reaching sub $15 doesnt seem to be a concern or goal at all. might be lucky if it is sub $30 at this rate.

I'm so excited for this one. TGW does not disappoint and neither does Russ Gray! Love the idea of the 3 variants that goes beyond just recolors.
